Re: The Alchemist's Lair

The elder sister looks around, ticking off rooms and doors on her fingers.

"Water filter, living quarters, actual workroom, entryway.  Unless there's a door hidden behind a cabinet or something, we've covered the place.  It's as big as it needs to be for one man to pursue secret research."

Re: The Alchemist's Lair

In reply to Masugatan (msg # 213):

a little exploration in the bedroom reveals something odd; there is a large stone slab, that looks to be buried deep below the hill protruding into the room, next to it is a chamberpot.

the slab is noticeably clean and free of dust.

In reply to Narrator (msg # 216):

Emma will investigate the slab, bending over considerably in front of Masugatan to look very closely, making her leather skirt fit her healthy form a little tighter than usual. It would seem she likes fire...or at least sparks!

[Private to GM: Rolled 1 under thaumatology to identify why there is no dust on the stone.]

Oh, there is a trap there all right! Thoroughly checking it just might set it off though!

Re: The Alchemist's Lair

Once back outside Jednesa carefully reexamines herself and handaxe for any slime splatters and rubs dirt on and scrapes it back off of any suspicious looking spots.

Then she settles in to wait for the party to finish up exploring and looting the alchemist's quarters.

Re: The Alchemist's Lair

In reply to Narrator (msg # 225):

When she was here, she looked around and did not find anything more magical. With stuff around she does not like, she did not hang around. But Emma passed the thaumatology roll, so it is not required. Basically with the porn around, Christine does not care...

Re: The Alchemist's Lair

"So, am I to understand this outcrop might have a spell of magical cleaning -- or might completely destroy anything that touches it?  Seems simple enough."

The elder sister reaches into her pouch and pulls out a small stone, just the size to fit into a closed fit (or a sling pouch).  Looking for a relatively level spot on the slab in question, she reaches out and drops the oval stone onto the rock, then steps back and waits.
