Re: The Alchemist's Lair

"It's worth it, Valerie."  The younger sister glances to the side for a moment.  "And the mud washes right off.  It's not like we can't create the water for it, when needed.  And of course, we don't get our clothes muddy, because we don't wear them for the ritual."

"Say, Holiness, perhaps next time we're in town we should think about getting a portable bathtub -- and one of us should ask the frog god for something to heat the water.  Don't know if he'd like that, but it doesn't hurt to ask.  It's for humans, not frogs, after all."

Emma looks at the stone to estimate how easy it is to move it, after using it, before looking around at what else is there.

Is there anything else of note?

"...there is nothing to replace, since you do not bathe" she says dryly, finishing his sentence.

So there is nothing else of interest we can find?

The Alchemist's Lair

OOC:  Pretty sure everything's been gone over twice now

My list of Potential Loot from within the Alchemist Lair:
Jars of Improvised Alchemical Reagent
Jars of denatured Glowjuice (now unstable Alchy Fire)
Furniture (Backed bench, mirror, coatrack, bed)
Household goods: Stone bedroom stuff, rusty iron kitchen ware
Iron Furnishings (door bandings and hinges, wall sconces, chandeliers, railing, buckled iron door)
Singed and Damaged Pornographic Formulary
Solid Gold Alchemy equipment
2 Tonne Bathing Stone
Cloak of Warmth (?)
Boots of Sneakiness (?)

This doesn't include anything absolutely useless like rotten beans and grains, thoroughly molded bed covers, smashed crockery, etc.

In reply to Emma Wilson (msg # 277):

all accounted for, except for the cloak and boots.  the items of real value are the book, the gold, the potion bits that McNealy has, and the (hard to move) cleaning stone.

the Gnome might be willing to stay here and watch it,while working from the book.

As a Player I'm fine with that, as a Character Jednesa has no opinions either way.  He could pretty easily stay here, work on the book, and keep an eye on this place (and be foolish and blow himself up) while we continue on.

Pretty sure he's been an NPC again since March.  That's when Gwythaint started posted "NPCed" in his posts.
