The sisters, seeing Jednesa ready herself to receive the incoming wolves, leave their armor donning at whatever stage of completion it's in and each readies her sling, then readies a stone to the pouch, and rocks the sling while waiting for a clear target.

About to throw the fireball, Christine stops at this unexpected turn of events, watching what transpires next, and holding Crispin back as well.

The younger sister's jaw drops and her eyes widen -- but she doesn't stop rocking her sling.

As the dire wolf enters her reach Jednesa roughly grabs it up into her arms to bear hug it, and then stops, confused by it's 'puppy like' behavior, it's happy wiggling and face licking.  Then she plunks down into a sitting position and laughs, "HAHAHAHA!  Kdo je dobrý vlk?"

As she she opens her arms for the rest of the pack, "Who do you hunt with?  Kde je pán?" she asks the massive 'puppers', sounding a bit confused.

Not understanding, Masugatan looks back at the others to see their reaction.

OOC: Do the wolves react to go to the horn?  If so, Jednesa will order them "Zustan! Knoze!"  (Stay! Heel!) and then address the party... if the dire puppers do something else... she'll do something else...

"Maybe.  Jednesa meet lot of wolves.  Ogres in old tribe train for hunt, also used in Great Army.  Jednesa go see if horn is hunting Ogres.  If follow, stay back.  If not hunters Jednesa can talk to, Jednesa shout for you."

With that Jednesa gets to her feet, gives the biggest wolf a head scritch and then gentle thump on the rump, saying "Domov! Jít!"

After a brief whispered consultation, the sisters stow their slings, finish up their armor fastenings, and bring out their shields and whips.

"Should we bring the light, or not?"  The elder sister gestures at the tent pole, most of its glowing tip covered by its pocket in their tent.

“I knew when I left the streets, things would be different,” Masugatan mutters.  “But I didn’t know it’d be this different.”

He follows along, ready for even more craziness.

Jednesa soon spots the hornblower, who is another oversized ogre who looks vaguely familiar.  He wears a patchwork of pelts, and has three dire hares hanging from his belt, and carries a spiked maul in addition to the horn.

Jednesa approaches loudly, making slightly extra noise* as is proper Ogrish custom to announce oneself in a non-confrontational manner, "Vlčí mistr! Potkali jste se? Jednesa z Kamenných hor a nověji Velká Armáda."


* She slaps a few trees and stomps extra loudly on the underbrush.  And shouts her greeting warmly.

I remind you that jeden/jedna means "one" in Czech, so Jednesa's name is a variation of One.  Google translate even translates it as 'One'.

So, depending on the accent, she's also saying "One of the Stone Mountains..."
