Re: The Alchemist's Lair

Masugatan investigates the sink so Emma doesn't have to, and also checks out the drain, trying to figure out what's wedged into it.  But he's careful not to touch anything.

In reply to Masugatan (msg # 11):

Sorry. My phone regularly adds garbage to my typing, adding unnecessary characters and nonsense words as it deems fit.

The water flows quickly,  and oberflows the sink. The drain looks to have hair caught in it.

No you can't tell by looking.
 The cabinet can be moved.
The tap turns off by twisting it the other way.

If Emma cannot open the cabinet, she will try to move it to see where the water is coming from. She may have to lean her staff against the wall...

She turns the tap in the opposite direction, and watches for a moment to see if the drip has stopped.

It looks like cloth sacks that might have held grain or legumes a long time ago.
The cabinet looks like it might have been able to swing away from the wall easily on a pivot, but now looks like that would be difficult

Occ a ST roll or two

With a squeal it pivots into the center of the room, revealing that it is hinged on one side. Behind it is a door that swings in the same direction.

Seeming Emma recklessly reaching for the hidden door, Evelina splashes away, reaching out to pull Elaina with her.

In reply to Evelina Grattan (msg # 29):

The barmaid inspects the door, running a knife along  the edges of the door, peering at the reflection in the blade, and peers at the ceiling above for a moment.
"Looks like nothing. The cabinet probably blocked it only to make space. This is a tight kitchen, and this wall is the only one that makes sense to put it."

The gnome peers into the room and carefully slides open each of the little doors. the first has gracel, the next sand, and the liwest, and smallesttier is full of charcoal.

"This is a water filtration system, very compact actually. what fills the vat though? that I would like to know!"
