seeing the sisters falling into formation with Masugatan and Val, the four gnolls alter their own formation to fight them, leaving the ogress to the heavily armored gnolls on the other side.

Jednesa throws the hapless and dying gnoll she's got at the heavily armored gnolls and rushes forward at them...


OOC:  All-Pout Attack, Throwing gnolls at the group of heavily armored gnolls, then moving forward 8 yards at them... this might end up being a Rapid Strike situation (if she can Slam as well) if so, let me know.

If the group is within Slamming range, she hits as it would only at worst be a -4 for Range, if they aren't within 10 yards (8 for a Slam) then she hits out to 12 yards which is as far as she can throw the gnoll (if they're between 12 and 18 yards, then she'll rush forward 6 yards and throw).

Correct.  Smoke is generally a fire and forget spell indoors, but outdoors you might have to Maintain it more frequently than the 5 minute duration.

two heavily armored rones run up and flank fer, slashing at the outside of her legs. one doing 10pts (no sale) the other 11, thereby nicking her for 1 point.

Jednesa staggers, but doesn't stop, she snatches the spear from her eye and flings it aside...


OOC:  2 damage impaling is 4 wounds to the eye (before skull multiplier), so her eye is crippled (injury over HP/10 which would be 3), but, the final wounds of 8 (after skull multiplier) is not enough to trigger a Knockdown (injury greater than HP/2 which would be 16) or even cause a Berserk Check (injury higher than HP/4 which is 9).  She's now at 17 (counting the slash to her flank) of her 36 HP so she's still above HP/3 (12) and not even slowed yet (but getting dangerously close to having her steamroll ability shutdown).
Uber high HP is kinda OP, and Jednesa has an HP pool of 36.  Might have to bump it up to 40 after this adventure, just to stop further 'easy' eye cripplings... ;)  or should that be ,)

How far to the armored gnolls who missed (and the one who hit), or are they all at "15 yards out" (which should put them at 7 yards from her)?

The elder sister, nearest to Valerie, lashes out with her whip at the weapon of the gnoll second from her end of the line (intending to entangle the weapon).

OOC:  If you're talking about Jednesa's crippled eye, technically both work, Regeneration is the more potent spell and is needed for missing limbs or organs, Jednesa technically still has the eye, it's just crippled, so Restoration will work fine.  However as her "Guild Bank" account has more than enough to afford Instant Restoration, she'll definitely get that once we're back in Northport.  Unless you have and can cast the 50FP spell?  ;)

Despite carrying a shield, the elder sister has little skill or experience with it; instead, she attempts to dodge the thrust -- but still takes the point below one breast.  Her leathers take most of the force, but the point still draws blood.
