Once Reanna starts following the guards, Virgilio will relax enough at least to stand up and flex his legs.

As Reanna follows the guards, Dilandua breaks cover next to Aegis, "Wait here, keep the horses and guide safe."  Then stealths back into the underbrush to follow Reanna in case that goes sideways.

"Speaking of horses, I should probably learn to ride one of these sometime soon."  He approaches the one he caught on the road immediately after being freed.

"Looks like my quiet life in research is done."

“Quiet is overrated,” Dne remarks, then goes back to pretending he’s eating a worm.

Reanna will want a defensible location, with easily available water. If others have a means for carrying large quantities of water, she will select the more comfortable location. But she will show the two defensible locations, and let others decide.

Dne comes down and awaits the party’s decision.

"As long as I don't have to sleep in manacles, I'm fine.  Not having to carry water for horses is good."

"That first site looks good, the other is right up on water.  We'd be swatting insects all night long."
