Before they settle down in the comfortable area, Dne takes a trip upstairs to make sure they aren't walking into a comfortable ambush.

once the camp is set, and watches assembled, the night pases almost uneventfully... some hammering sounds can be heard from the road.

Dne yawns, ruffles his imagined feathers and then heads back up to observe the source of the hammering.

Reanna packs up the camp as soon as she wakes, and is curious with regards to the hammering sound. How far away is it on the road, and in which direction.

Virgilio listens to the hammering, trying to identify what's hammering on what -- mallets on stakes or pegs, sledgehammers on chisels or rock drills, carpenters' or smiths' hammers?

After rising and packing their gear away onto a horse, Dilandua spends the remaining morning nibbling on a dry rice cakes and doing armed and unarmed katas.
