As I understand it, apportation works only on a single item.
Will shape metal allow pushing all the coins together into a silver bar or the like?

How big is the pool in surface area? Ie, how long would it take to collect it all?

OOC: Charlene has Mario's staff, lent to her as a substitute for her badly charred spear.  I wouldn't expect a caustic that barely burns skin to do much if anything to wood in a reasonable time frame.

Clarence will try to grab a few more handfuls as quickly as he can then. A silver in the hand is worth 2 in the lions mouth...

"Best leave off that, Clarence.  You're getting discolored.  Whatever is in that pool, even though it's slow, it eats into the silver over time, too.

"And that makes me wonder if the lion is spewing the same stuff, or if that's proper water coming out and diluting whatever was originally in the pool."  He works his way over and sticks the tip of a finger into the trickle falling from the lion's mouth, then rubs it between finger and thumb and sniffs at it.
