A faint 'eep' at the mention of her name comes from the tunnel wall where Ülo had been fading out of view.  Then she steps forward, checks herself briefly, and moves to the front of the group with a purpose and stride as though she were not the actually the smallest individual here.

"Yes, I am Ülo, the trollwife in charge of this delegation."


OOC:  I mean, may as well own every inch of authority someone else wants to not get on themselves...

In reply to Ulo (msg # 16):

"I am called Flax. I have studied your ancestral magics since your arrival.  It is good to see the traditional forms in use."

"Oh...kay." She looks around to see if this as weird to everyone else as it seems to her. "Do you control the animated statues, or golems in this tunnel?  Is this your living area?"

Jendrich can only shrug when Ulo glances his way. Like it or not, he's already passed his weirdness quota for the day.

"These? They ate relics of an earlier age, when I was young and thr master had yet to achieve his Apotheosis. Some of our followers dwelt here...." It gestures toward Grimaldi.
"Be careful with that. The master will seek what you have,  and may pursue you for it."

"The master I will not name, lest He hear it spoken,  but they are active again after a long, long sleep. I could not perceive the vial you hold, but He can, and He will seek it."

"Aha! Well, We needn't anybody's master, coming after us! I'll just leave it here, then."
*Grimaldi removes the book with cutout vial inside, and leaves it on a dry surface.*

Grohm leaned over towards Jendrich and nodded towards the golem.

"If that thing has a master, I dare not imagine it's power.", he whispered.

Jendrich nods and whispers back "especially since even that thing doesn't want to see it!"

"Well, I suppose we won't be finding out what is in the tunnels on the opposite side now."

both she and Rafik clutch eachother; this is a place that they know!

the corridor continues, but to the left is the troll gate, a regular bronze gate, but the stonework around it is carved beautifully.  This is home!

"So... is this our destination? We made it?"
