Aethul supports with short sword and shield

as Balir opens the next coffin, one behind creaks open and one of the vampires engages with Snorri!

Since the coffin in front of him is now open, Balir decides to deal with what is in front of him, and hammers his pick-stake into the vampire in front of him

OOC: Balir hits the heart of the vampire in the coffin in front of him (roll 8 vs target 14) for 8 impaling damage (penalties may apply)

Seeing that Balir has this one under control, He spins and attacks the one attacking Snorri.
Stabbing for the vitals with his silvered short sword.

Kirpich sees the next one coming out at Snorri, and unleashed his stone missile at the creatures head!

Following what seems to have become SOP, as soon as the lid is removed by Balir, Hannatti throws the stake with all her might.

if the creature becomes genuinely immobile, Hannatti will prioritise cutting its head off with her silvered sword.

8 coffins on the left, 4 on the right. 8 locked by Marlena.
Of the unlocked ones, 1 held child (vanquished), 1 empty, 1 vampire (vanquished) & 1 just opened by Balir.

So I don't qute understand how a coffin behind Balir creaks open and has a vamp emerge.
Maybe it was from the empty coffin and just emerged from the shadows?

Otherwise, in the time it took Balir to remove lid (maybe 1 or 2 seconds), the vampire has smashed open a coffin lid, removed the lid, stood up, stepped out, and moves to Sorri (and that sound like at leadt 4 seconds..)

Marlena's spell failed on that one, no way for her to know until it was tested.

Snorri cleaves through the arm of the one targeted (and hit) by both Kirpich and Aethul.

it collapses back into the coffin but is not yet done.

meanwhile Hannatti is free to decapitate the doubly staked out vampire.

Hannatti separates the doubly staked vampire from its head and then recovers her stake..

you slash its throat to the bone, but it is not yet dead... and claws at you for 4 points crushing unless dodged. Hannatti  withdraws the stake from the cruming remains of the one she decapitated.

Balir was confused as to what was still kicking and what wasn't - and he may have missed an action because of it. But now he is back in business. Since the vampire in the box in front of him is now dust, he can just turn around and go for the heart of the last one. Which he does.

OOC: Balir takes a step (if needed towards the last vampire. He hits the hear (6 below target) for 8 impaling damage with the pick stake (wooden).

Balir not only immobilizes the vamp,but the damage is enough to do it in, and it spits blood at him and starts to sink in on itself...

Kirpich notes Aethul taking a hit for when he next has a free hand, but for now he watches what is around and above them.

"So if we're all ok, let's move round ready, and test the coffins sequentially as to whether any further other ones are not locked," suggests Hannatti.

She moves to the next unchecked coffin, stake readied, in anticipation of Balir testing the coffin lid. If not locked, then deal with the contents.
Otherwise (it being locked), the idea is to leave it for now and check the next.. If all are locked then we start at the beginning again.

[Private to Balir Ironhide: GM already said (somewhere or other) than the caster didn't know the spell had failed. It's worth checking IMO, but if you don't think so, just say so in game.
I'm not sure but opening a locked coffin might make a lot of noise and waken anything around here that's wakenable. Maybe you want to ask the caster in game.. ]

It actually is. I impaled it, and Hannati decapitated it.
