lend energy (and share energy, and reover energy) is learnable, but lend vitality requires clerical power investiture.
if you are ready to go, seek gate wil lead you tobthe Janus gate, as some walls of the maze have shifted, and the holes made by the brownie have grown shut.

OOC: Alastrine can do Seek Gate, but as she's not telepathic someone needs to tell me what gate to seek and preferably why.
Also: what maze? What Brownie holes? What is a Janus gate?

@GM - I was only eyeing "Lend Vitality" as a prerequisite for "Minor Healing" to try and assist with healing. (Completely ok with it if not learnable by mages.)
Might a haldful of CPs be awarded any time soon? - I just spotted that a lot of the Gate spells (e.g. transplanar) are classed as separate spells according to destination and therefore need CPs..

Mel will heal any injured, suggesting that finding their way out of here back to the Temple Hill gate might be difficult now that the maze has shifted. Is their aerial reconnaissance still around?

When Mel indicates 'ready to go' Alastrine appropriately casts Seek Gate.

The well no longer registers as a gate at all. There is a gate, active and open to the southeast.

Ginko flies above, and indicates some turns to make in the hedge maze

Alastrine shares the information about the gates and follows on safely behind Horath.

Hograth glares at Melchizedek.

"This axe is for defending myself and attacking evil. If the hedge becomes corrupted, I must do what I must. But otherwise I try to avoid harming the locals."

Alastrine tries, "Boys, don't grip your weapons so tightly. Relax," and turns to face the dryad speaker. "I am Alastrine. If there is any sort of demon problem her we would be pleased to try and assist if you wish us to. Otherwise we will be happy to be on our way to seek demons elsewhere. The dwarf is a good fellow and will not attack any of your delightful, harmless plants." She gives Hograth a nudge, bouncing off the sturdy fellow. "This is where you, Hograth, if you please, say, 'I agree'."
