"If he were to send a much larger force, things might well be different, but in his position, unless he has gained more knowledge of our true strength, he must consider that he risks his very ability to hold his position.  If it were myself, I would have to consider carefully whether to try to overwhelm this village, or simply forget it."

"It would be better is he just forgot about the village, but I don't think he will.    I believe he will see the defeat of his men as an embarrassment and as an affront to his authority.  Eventually, word will get out about how his men were defeated here and he will want to punish the village for that outrage before that happens.", Kichiro said.

"Mostly out of revenge, but also to instill fear into the other villages and towns. The Baron can't let the idea of revolution to get a foothold anywhere."

the baron's crest is a golden sheaf of wheat on a red and black quartered shield.
