The night passes uneventfully... although a couple of the ordinary gnolls quietly chewed through their bonds and escaped, possibly to join the others that fled from the rain of fire.

Come morning, Christine warns that they may try to free the matriarch. She makes sure that all weapons and armour are removed (I am sure we did that already, but double checking) and asks the dragonfolk who were assisting gaurding them how they slipped away unnoticed. She is concerned about the standard of the sentries...

But we head on next morning.

Jednesa checks on the gnoll leader, then stows the water barrel on the cart, and takes up the cart's tongue ready to go once more.

The sentries seem embarrassed about the escape,which may have been carefully timed,as they insist on regular rounding having taken place. Ovr a dozen normal and 4 elites remain.

Jednesa turns to face her fully and gently sets the cart's tongue back down, "Do you swear to obey Jednesa and accept Jednesa protection?"

"And then my sister and I healed you.  I need to check if you need additional care."

“Did the ones who escaped swear the same oath?  If so, it didn’t stop them.”
