Jednesa moves slightly and subtly, but enough such that should the gnoll matriarch do something ferociously stupid it will be the last thing she ever does.


OOC:  Moving just enough to ensure the matriarch is in Reachabd prepared to take action, but being sneaksy and sottle about it.  Well, sneaksy anyway.  A little sneaksy, only so much you can do when everyone gets a +2 to spot what you're up to...

Masugatan sighs, fearing they may be in for another fight.  He readies himself.

 one of the other bouda whines and barks at her in their language.
"Better to the ogre than to tour enemies"
She glances over at Masugatan, flares her nostrils and then turns to Valerie
"Keep your man in check."

Christine smiles at the last implication.

"If Jednessa was to send you on your way, would you promise to never attack us again? I am not sure she has the authority to protect you when we go to speak with the dragon..."

The younger sister can't suppress a snicker at the bouda queen's assumption.

"Sit, boy."  She winks at Masugatan, then smiles at Valerie.

Jednesa just casually reaches over from almost eight feet away, leans slightly forward, and places her hand on the Matriarchs head, gently cupping her fingers around it.

"Do you swear to obey Jednesa and accept Jednesa protection?"

Masugatan does a few jumping jacks.

In reply to Jednesa (msg # 143):

"To you and you alone I pledge, on my honor and that of my pack."

In reply to Harou (msg # 145):

"Including those who have run off?"

"Okay, this is barrel of water.  This is food."  Jednesa pats both barrels in tandem.  "What is gnoll leader name and is healed enough to walk?"

If the gnoll matriarch says yes, they can walk, Jednesa will indicate for her to get off the cart, and then (either way) pick up the busted tongue to get ready to depart.

"Jednesa, name Harou."
the other gnolls all howl her name before settling down.

Masugatan finishes his last set of jumping jacks and sits down.

Jednesa nods, "Jednesa lead Harou, Harou lead her gnolls."

Having picked up the cart's tongue, Jednesa looks about to see if everyone else was ready to leave and follow the dragonfolk to where ever.

Christine can see this going quite pear-shaped when the dragon wants these folk before courts, but she just sighs and continues on.

once the camp is broken down, you head further down the uneven road.  it is rough going, but the two armies are able to hold formation.

Jednesa waits at the cart with the gnolls, having gently set the broken tongue down.  She takes a casual look about getting an idea of where all the dragonfolk are around them in case this comes to a fight.
