the fireball struck a regular gnoll, who howls.

in the future you need to make a tactics roll to spot a leader; 10 minutes ith observation wil do this,and there are bonii for things like uniform decor,fancy hsts and shouting of orders etc.

Observation as a skill typically requires an hour. If you have suitable heraldry or military savoire faire you can recognize leaders easily, but again, if someone you can see is shouting orders that others respond to, you have serious bonii. Tactics lets you see their tactics in motion.


Val is clutching her midsection, and glares st the knife wielding Gnoll in front of her.

Jednesa removes her hand from the gnoll leader's head and points away from the group of surrendered heavy armor gnolls, "Weapon pile there," and then back to where they are 'clustered', "Sit there."
