Rosewood looks to Camilla too as he has no idea.  However he hoping that the two winter court elves has as often happens in the books he read underestimated the humans.  Which makes them look silly.

Re: In the Guild

Rosewood fly's down to the table.  He looks a little awkward.
He bows to the elf that just arrived.
Lady Ambassador.  Would you help us find out why Maudwyn thought she should come to the human realm and make trouble.  Also if she is working alone.  When I took on this work I did not think one of your court was behind this.  My books from my library have taught me that such meddling between fay and humans do not often go well on both sides.  Has one of the winter court great poet says
"It is best to let rabid animal of humanity alone.  For unlike dogs.  Their bite is nastier than their bark when disturbed from their sleep.  For now their teeth are made of iron and if awake they need something to chew their teeth on."

Again he bows to her awkwardly.

I can assure you that the majority of the Winter Court have no interest in human affairs...or at least are indifferently amused by your short miserable lives.  There are a few factions however...
It is good that she lives, as her kinsmen would have started a war of revenge had shebeen slain. As it is, your use of iron smacks of the dunces of the Mageguild, and at the very least you have gained an enemy today."

Re: In the Guild

Rosewood added.
But lady Ambassador.  Maudwyn's action could be seem as an act of war on the humans and this guild.  Has the winter court declared war on the guild?  Revenge could be called on from both sides.  Maudwyn will hate humans and that will never change.  I am now on that list two.  But what will it gain the guild or the winter court a war.  It will only weaken you both and open you up to others taking advantage of the situation.

I can tell you now from the time I spent with humans.   Maudwyn was to continue and course one more death without justice they would rise up and find a happiness in dyeing if they new their death resulted in Maudwyn and her kind dyeing to.

As an Ambassador is it not your place to see both side of an argument and issues then find the one best for the safety and prosperity of The Winter court and it's fay.  Is open war between humans and fay ever a good thing?

As for my self.  The only reason I have courage to face you is I wish to live my exiled years in relative peace.  I do not wish to be drawn into a war.  Nothing I have ever read about war between humans and fay indicate to me that it is good for anybody in the long run.

The little fairy starts to shake.  All he want to do is go away and be left alone.  To face such an important and powerful fay is everything this little fairy hates.  However the idea of anybody else dying because of Maudwyn actions it something he cannot stand.

The little fairy wings open and close and as it does both light multi-coloured fairy dust and dark bad black fairy dust rosewood used to kill the head of the cult play along them.   The two types of fairy dust playing with each other happily.  To anybody looking this has very sinister overtones.
His eyes for a second turn totally black then turn normal.  This happens a few times.

Maudwyn's actions may have already course a long term consequences for me and my kind that would not bode well for fay and human alike.  One that only a long an peaceful life will hide.

As he is speaking the above words he looks for the first and only time directly at the Ambassador.  His eyes turning totally black from his dark fairy dust.  Then he pulls himself back.

In a quiet voice he asks.  Please Ambassador help me find peace between the two sides.  He looks down at his feet.

OOC:
This subject to GM happy with where I am going with this.  It based on his flaws and QUIRK.

The shadowfey smiles coldy.
"Havi g been here this whole time, I  gather that Maudwyn and her minions were attacking unguilded demifey, something the agents of theHadereum have chosen to ignore. None of you lot are particularly high in guild rank,so this was not an attack on the guild,it was the minions of the guild attacking a member of the Winter Court, along with whatever persons she had glamoured or simply requested to act in a way I find humans to do without prompting. "Then you forget we do not act without sanction? The guild was asked to help her victims defend themselves, and that has brought us to this. Her death would be the direct result of her actions. So you are saying she has the backing of the winter court? If so, Rosewood is right in saying that is a declaration of war, and we as minions of the guild are well within our rights to defend ourselves. Or do you think members of the winter court have a right to go around killing within consequences?"

Re: In the Guild

Rosewood looks back up at the Ambassador.  His eyes turn totally black.
I asked once kindly and you smiled coldly at me and dismissed me and the humans.  You immortal fay have always looked down on fairy's and treated us as your play things.  Both courts have never truly valued us or our loyalty.   You did not listen.  If you keep kicking a loyal dog it grow sharp teeth and devours it's master.
Do you know one of the main reason I was kicked out of the summer court.  No.  It was so I could live in peace away from other fairies and not infect them.  I excepted my punishment because I was loyal.  To stay away from other fay and die in peace.  But it has only taken a few months for you to do to me what I promised I would try to prevent.
I will ask a second time for you to set up peace between the guild and the winter court but you should know you have already started the process I tried to stop now.  I am evolving.

Rosewood shakes again.  This time he now has same smile on his face that the Ambassador had given him.

I would love to see how your going to explain to both the Kings and Queens of both courts how you managed to force my evolution on by 10 years in 10 minutes and have freed me of my promise to the summer court Queen.  We both know how rare and how much it upset the Kings and Queens of both court to have a joint court.  But my evolution may just prompt such a meeting.  Or it may not.  Time will tell.
His grin broaden.  Oh and before you or anybody else get any ideas.  Do you know why I was not killed or imprisoned which would make sense?  It is because if I die or I am imprisoned and made miserable the dark fairy dust will find new hosts.  Yes hosts.  My death will only speed the process up.

He lifts his hands up to her with open palms and the two types of fairy dust play with him.  He smiles at the patterns they make.
You pushed me into facing what I tried to walk away from.  He then says something so quiet only she and the other two elves can hear.

Rosewood turns away.  His eyes are still totally dark and the light and dark fairy dust still play along his wings.  What happens next is on your head and yours alone Ambassador.  For dead or alive I now no longer fear the winter court or it fay.

OOC:
To the other players.  The Ambassador has pushed all the wrong buttons with Rosewood.  I really did not see him developing like this but he has been push into a corner and he has to come out fighting.

If you others are to come and see her, as I am sure you will want, it will be through the fate kept by that faun. Frost elf, draw a door for us and Rosewood. The others may find their own way. Dilandua, you may come if you wish."

She passes a piece of chalk to Maudwyn, who takes it and draws a door on the wall.

it opens into twilight. The Ambassador  extends her hand to Rosewood in invitation.
"Mab is expecting you. Itis best not to tarry."

Re: In the Guild

Rosewood stops and puts a finger to his lips.
What I do now will defined how my.  No not my but our people shall be.
He turns to face the Ambassador and looks her up and down.  His eyes now permanently black.
I see now The Winter Court is frozen in time.  At least The Summer court understands growth and death.
He walks slowly back to her.
I will except your invitation as I, no my people have decided on an agreement to represent this guild.
As for Mab.  She is not my queen and never will be.  But I except and respect her as The Queen of The Winter Court.  If I was to have a queen it would be the fairy I was to marry.  But this is not how our people will be or who we are.  We will have laws to govern all and a council to work for the good of all.

He extends his hand with grace.
We will go to see your queen Mab and try to agree peace between The Winter Court and The Guild.  If I am killed or tricked then I have stayed true to myself and my fairy dust will remember this long after I am gone.

He place his small hand just millimeters from The Ambassador's.
I consent to go with you but you must touch my hand and by doing so you agree to my safe passage both in mind, body and spirit.  Fairy dust be bound.

Rosewood face is blank.  His dark black eyes look back at the Ambassador.  But if you look closer you can see the two types of fairy dust playing together inside his eyes.  Capturing all the light heading into his eyes.  This is why they look black.

OOC:
This is all Leroy du Lac fault.  If he was still here Rosewood could sit safely on his shoulder and be the fool he normally was.
