Reanna Draegan:
So we still have them...and a chance to make money hiring them out before selling them! Nice...$20 per day hire rate?

OOC:  That's not a bad rate, better thana 10% rental fee and a deposit.  We could get $2,400 for a sale, so I'd recommend at least a "you break it, you bought it" agreement.  Of course depending on the size of the fae, they might not be the right fit.

OOC: Presuming it matters, Virgilio is and even six feet tall and weighs 138 lbs in his skivvies.  I'd expect this kind of getup to be adjustable, at least to some extent, however.  I can't readily picture this abomination being made specially for Virgilio, after the Mage Guild decided he was better kept under lock and key.  More likely it was originally created to render wizards helpless for trial, or after conviction for transport to execution.

Dne approaches Marcus.  “What sort of help are you looking for?” He asks from underneath the cold comfort of his weird-looking bird mask.  “Do you consider lightning bolts cast from above to be helpful?”

Marcus looked at the ine who had just spoken to him.
"I doubt lightning bolts are useful in keeping a possible informant contained."
"Question her without threat of her using her powers."
"That is what we are looking for."

Marcus had quite obviously missed that the people present had a solution.

Dilandua then answers Anita, "Reanna has the witch-locks we took off of Virgilio.  They should fit your captive."

Re: In the Guild

"As one who was recently held in those locks because of who and what I am..."  Virgilio has the look of one making the decision what to say even as he speaks.

"I might lend you the coin.  This seems a much more proper use of these bonds than what I was subjected to -- though I'm sure your captive would disagree.  I had never any intention of harming anyone, though.

"Let us say, I will pay the seven francs for up to a week's use, and you may owe me nine francs, to be paid when you can, but within a quarter year at most.

"Obviously, if the restraints are damaged while in your care, your group will be responsible for repair cost or reimbursement for the value we would have received for their sale -- which I understand to have been 120 francs.

Dilandua has made a different offer, which might be more advantageous to you -- or it might not, depending what you learn and obtain from it."

the captive is visibly wearing bronze elven hauberk, which is worth quite a bit, and they checked her sword at the door.

"No, I offered to lend you money, with no other guarantees than first right of purchase to their belongings.  For several reasons, one, Winter Court fights with laws as well as claws.  By making sure my cousin's belongings are all in one place, or as much as I can afford, and a place sympathetic to them, that minimizes the risk to follow Guildsmen should they pursue a legal redress.  Two, that is Winter Court battledress, it is not kit for peasants."
