Christine sees no reason to worry about the other camp, other watching out for them as a potential danger like all other dangers on the road.

you are eventually heading to the West as well, you only need to go a few days south first.

The Abbey was east-South-east of here, the vale of the dragon further south than that.

Veroigne, you have heard, is even further south than the vale, and you will be turning westward before you cone to the vale.

You make your way up a less maintained path than the iter, through the hills.

The path looks well used, but unlike the old imperial road, the shoulders of
the path are not cut back.  A two horse cart could barely fit on the path.

When not on point Ginger is more than content to fall in line behind Elaida and enjoys the view.

Christine will lead, naturally, warning all to stay away from the edges. She is a mountain elf, after all.

Masugatan will loaf around somewhere in the middle and encourage Val to do the same.  He also admires the view, but also looks around periodically in search of approaching threats.

Elaina is happy to accentuate the natural movement of her walk for Ginger's benefit.

Meanwhile she, too, keeps her head on a swivel.  This is country that could contain unpleasant surprises.
