Starting on the 1st and going through the 6th, I'll be unavailable for most of the weekend.  I'm working a convention, doing prep work, post work, etc.  I might jump on somewhere in there, but expect me to be gone the whole time.

Very sore knees and calves here... we covered all the lower half of Iowa, firing computers, boilers, engines, turbo-generators, fire rooms ... to the shaft alleys...  up to the 02 level for Communications (send and receive are on different levels, neither compartment is small), the anchor winches, CEC (the old CIC) and the Captains sea cabin once used b FDR ... do you have any idea of how many ladders that encompasses?

USS Midway is a very well presented museum... LOTS to look at, again, lots of ladders, but some elevators added to allow the handicapped reasonable access. Our only mistake was trying to do it all in a weekend.
