Rolls happen after contracts are concluded.

Those rolls you see showing up currently are being made by players rolling new characters, because of the rash of harsh outcomes from the mission threads.  Have not looked at rolls, so i have no idea if they're good rolls or bad, but i'm invalidating them, because were not in bookkeeping for modifications at this time.

Contract is expected to end at the end of mission 13... or 14.

Unless youre making a new character, like Daniel, Morgan, or Quentin, there are no availability rolls being made at this time.

Repair bay open for notes on battlefield repairs from mission 11, and for new character information to accumulate for processing.

Mission 11 summaries are being finalized.

The Legion is formed up with Roger, Ziro, and Joaquin.  They will be joined by Penny for Mission 12, who is on loan from the Iron Swords.

The Iron Swords pick up Daniel Hou, rounding out their unit size officially to 'six'.  They are loaning Penny to the Legion, so they will be going in with (5) pilots for mission 12.


Pax's absence is a problem, does Akarian or Malcolm want to step up to speak for the Lancers?

Teri has just been assigned to the Light Lancers to help replace the void Dono's inactivity is causing.

There will be no Freelancer Mission on Mission 12.  Freelancers not assigned to a unit for a mission will generate 'half' base pay for Mission 12, and earn no experience.

I'd be happy to step up for the lancers if Malcom doesn't want to, and Pax is going to be away prolonged? However, I don't think I'm experienced enough to properly battle master at this time. Although its certainly something I'd happily consider doing in the future.

I'm happy to do it, or for Akarian to do it.  I feel fairly comfortable trying my hand as a BM, at least for 1 mission, it's something I've thought about doing in the past...  Is Pax's character going to participate in the mission or will he be sitting out?  The rule of 'if you can't roll for yourself you automatically fail initiative' might be bad news for the Mongoose, I'd hate to see Pax's ride get busted up while he's gone... If you need a substitute unit leader for the mission Quentin has Rank 2, I'd be happy to get him involved if you want.  Either way works for me, just let me know what you need :)

I'm not sure what the situation is with him at the moment.  He does not have a doctor's note in at this time, and last i heard was actually overdue for a check in.

This of course is subject to change.

I can only work with the information available to me at this time.

Resolve Mission 11 for the Iron Swords and Lancers.

Mission 12

Iron Swords ~> update Merc status from M11 damage.

Lancers ~> update merc status from M11 damage.  Review Delta's Op Force when ready.

The Legion ~> update Penny's status from M11 damage.  Generate map.




If the sheet is considered 'current', Players should... report any errors on their Mission character sheet.

Delta needs to submit requested Op Force for Mission 12.

Paperwork all done (from my end, missions all officially started)

The only snafu is waiting on repair notes from the Light Lancers.

They have 24 hours to respond, from this post.

If they have not responded within 24 hours, questionable Mission 11 Battle damage does not get repaired and they go into mission 12 'as is'.

Beta Actuator Enhancement System  (One or Two Arms}
Available Male Characters 11+ / Female Characters 12+ for Actuators for one arm.
Cost (1000cb x Mech Weight)
Technical Skill Penalty ~ (2) Arm get -1 bonus to Punch Attacks (only)
                          (1) Arm get -1 bonus to All Physical Attacks
                          (0) Arm get -1 bonus to Arm mounted weapons

Beta Actuator Enhancement System  (Both Legs}
Available Male Characters 12+ / Female Characters 14+ for Actuators for both legs.
Cost (3000cb x Mech Weight)

Keep in mind you have Edge, so really you only need an tn8+ with one of those rolls to bury the Ferret.

Unit Organization.

Some of you might have noticed, that we need a unit reoganization.  I'm not going to go into the details on that point, suffice to observe, there are reasons.  I had wanted to hold off on this till after Mission 13, but events have forced my hand to move the changes up to 'now'.


We're going to move to a 'two unit' format.  Each unit will have two lances that may operate together or apart, as missions require it.  There will be some lee way between loaning pilots to each other within a unit.  Also going to have a 'reserve' status for a unit.  This will be a place for players with a less reliable schedule to sit out and play as time allows and sit out if they can not.

You'll probably have questions, if you do ask them, i'll answer them as best i can.

Everyone is still a 'Freelancer'.

The Freelancers is the Merc Name that you're all registered under.

The Freelancers are made up of small units and individuals that are looking to hire out their talent.  Units form at mechwarriors convenience and have been known to fall apart just as quickly.

In the current format, the Iron Swords and Legion form a long term arrangement to work together.

In a similiar line of thought the Light Lancers, have joined with Penny to work together.

Other pilots remain floating Freelancers, these are player alts, and as such are not always privy to play.  These characters make up the permanent 'Freelancer Pool'. Up coming mission 13 should see them all played though.

Adam w/Iron Swords
Quen w/Legion
Jake w/Lancers
Regi w/Pussycats

Some players were looking for a change, and as a Battlemaster, i could see that the players needed to be shuffled around, to even out the skill levels of players more evenly.

Bookkeeping forum updated, now ... i just have to get this forum squared away.  Except for the Light lancers who are in mid mission i'm going to tear up ready rooms and such and start over, just easier that way.

Heat ... when I fire all the lasers in a desert my mech tends to overheat and slow down.

I already used my edge for an init roll earlier.
