Re: Omni's Gratitude

Oh, and Kitten, I'm sure you don't want to deal with it now, but I am totally serious about wanting to make an VTOL pilot or some other sort of conventional pilot as an Alt.

I think that sort of thing would be perfect for alts. It's different, and if there aren't any missions that need a VTOL squadron, who cares? It's an alt. They can sit around and do nothing. If there's only a small role in the mission for them, who cares? It's just an alt.

I think it would be neat to have a little bit more combined arms on our side of the table :)

Re: Omni's Gratitude

VTOLs are one of the more survivable Conventional units.

If you really have your heart set on it, i dont mind, but you may end up idling about an awful lot.

There are actually several merc units that have techs that specialize in fixing Aeros/VTOLs.  You may want to look into shacking up with those units, maybe make an permanent arrangement.

Re: Omni's Gratitude

Brini's a standard mechwarrior, which gives the Freelances a full unit of four.

Going to have to mull over what to do about the Valks.  Will sleep on it and resolve it tomorrow, nappish.

nite nite folks.

In reply to Kitten (msg # 199):

That's why I think it would be great for an Alt. It would be fun to have around for something different every now and then, but it wouldn't be a big deal if she sat around a lot, because it's an alt.

So what are my options for that sort of thing? You said something about crazy Edenite VTOL's?

Re: Omni's Gratitude

Kitten's 'Turn' Order of progress.

1)  Bookkeeping for all of Contract two is done.  Players need to review their stats, if i have something wrong, it's your responsibility to let me know i have to fix it. ~ {WIP} (Almost there)

2)  Allowed are the For Sales from contract 3, you may have your Omni Gratitude purchases, presuming youre not a new character and didnt participate in Contract 3.  These purchase MAY be used to modify your mech for the tournement. Regular purchases may be made to modify your mechs for the Tournament. ~ {Player activity}

3)  Finish up the Tournament notes to start the Tourney ~ Procedure on how this will actually work, and a 'standard' map everyone will use, is left to do.  Once started the Tournament will last to the end of September.  All characters will earn one month of basic pay at that time. - {WIP} (Almost there.)

4)  Auctions will resolve in early September.  At that time, players may make rolls for ammo and mech availabiilty for purchase for the next Contract/Mission.  Mech modifications from Auctions... or mech upgrades will be made at this time.

5)  New Contract/Missions start in October.

That's a quick schedule for the campaign activity.  Skipping turns, asking me to do stuff out of turn, distracts me from what i'm trying to get done.  This is bad.

(goes back to using my vorpal marker on the stack of red tape for the game.)

Re: Omni's Gratitude

Major oversight updated Matt and Ziro for the Freelancers.

Their sheets are complete as well as their units tables.

Look over unit tables carefully cause their going to be the 'official' reference for your Omni opponent to reference.  Yes... one of their advantages will be to look you over and select a load they think that will be effective against you.

Against Valkyries, they get to look at your module selection, pick a load, and then the valkyrie... if they have optional modules, may load their mechs as they see fit.

Re: Omni's Gratitude

If you're buying to access an A-3, it's 6 tons.

(so actually i'm wrong too).

If youre just buying to stockpile in your inventory... yeah i guess you can go with 5 tons.

In reply to Anastasia Karkoff (msg # 213):

(shrugs)

I've only copy pasted what was used in the last contract, if you have it installed it's installed, i know you were using it, so it's just a superficial issue of it not being on the list, will add it.

(I had you listed with a Plugsuit which is a hint that it's a copy paste snafu {shrugs} sue me. :P )

Re: Omni's Gratitude

Kitten: Edge buy up from my Gratitude note isn't reflected on my character sheet.  First time I've used xp in game so maybe OOC wasn't the right place to post up?

Anyway: after my xp buy I should now have no xp avail and Edge should be up to 2

The two points was noted as an Auction purchase.

Second point of any option cost 50 points, so you dont have enough to increase it.

Re: Omni's Gratitude

I made some changes to my mech modifications (since they weren't applied yet, i figured that wouldn't be much of an issue)

basically, saves me money, and keeps my primary weapon set more flexible :D

also, with me buying +1 missile spec, i do believe i will land at a flat 0t modification in the omni duels thing ;)

What changes?

o.O

It does matter, you have to pay to undo the changes.

Regina pulled jump jets off, and just put them back on, cost her 195k cb to put them back on.  (ugh)

I'm listing you with a Projectile spec, you changing it to Missile spec?

I have your character sheet, current and up as i know it, if things are changing i should know, and why.

Re: Omni's Gratitude

changes to current: projectile will be replaced with missile.

we talked about this, and you permitted the alteration, since proj never had any xp dedicated to it.

-

the other changes are changes to how i am fitting up the streaks, since this has not yet actually been done, i can't see an issue with changing what i am shopping for for it :)

basically putting them in hands instead of in shoulders, so they are compatible with my current laser mount, thus saving me from purchasing another laser mount for my hands (which is just kinda stupid when i have a lazar mount already)

loadouts this will permit:
(remember I have endo steel internals)
AC/6 + 1t ammo + case, 2 ML, 1.5t Targeting comp (9t)
2 Streak 5's + 0.5t ammo each + case, 2 ML's (10t)
