Re: Cooling off period

My upset with you has never been about being reined in when a line is breached, Steve. I hope that I have made that clear. I recognize that you are the GM and that your role is to make the game and players flow as a smooth and cohesive unit. I shall try my best to do my part. As long as we both speak to each other with respect and kindness during the upcoming times when we shall surely disagree, then we shall have no problem. Thank you for welcoming me back as Clementine.

Your friend through thick and thin,
Joanna

Oh, the dishes.  Well, you know back in those days they just tossed 'em out the window for the wild pigs to lick clean...

Re: No  More Bacon!

I do n0t want to prolong what has happened, but I wanted to take a moment to tell you one of my life lessons.  When younger, I would be very direct and honest. Not cruel, but I would seldom mix my words. One of the things, I have learned is we do not know how a persons day is most of time, and what words will cut one day and do nothing the next. I have learned that taking a honest, but less direct approach to try and figure out how the person I am going talk to will react. I guess I am saying we all need to be cautious, and try to seek the most respectful way to communicate.

In fairness, I still make this error all the time

Wow, 43 new posts since last I looked.  At least it seem to have a happy ending.  :)

In reply to Edward Jennings (msg # 430):

True words.

Brutal honesty is not needed, because honesty does not require brutality.  It is a lesson I have learnt too, but from the other side.  Is it always easy?  No, but it is worth trying.

In real life I am the kind of person that if I hurt someone, intentionally or not,  I hurt myself more, perhaps because I know what it is to be on the receiving end or perhaps just because I am overly emphatic (if I want to cry I just read a newspaper or [watch] the news).  So I do what I can do avoid hurt, for others and me.

Sappy time over!  :p

What about walkies?

She's saying it is going to take the entire weekend to pick out and put on an outfit for her upcoming walk... and we're not even talking about the time needed for make-up!?

Just like a woman to keep a man waiting!  ;)

Enjoy your weekend vacation Rebecca, we'll be here when you get back.  ;)

Nope I mean the tall stranger dressed mostly in black with one eye, two guns and in desperate need of a visit to our local Barbershop/Bathhouse. ^_^

Re: I'm not superstitious.

See that's just being prejudiced against us war veterans who have been disabled.

You didn't say anything about the other guy that has been on the trail as long as me who needs the barber and bathhouse as much. I guess Clay Taylot gets a pass because he's prettier than me. So not right.....LOL

Who me prejudiced? I'm the salt of the earth and a wellspring of hope. Not a prejudiced bone in my body.

If I manage to see this Clay Taylor person I'll make up my mind about him then. Did you say he's pretty to look at?  ^_-

Needing a Bath and a Time Check

I've been up close and near enough to sniff them both. Want a second opinion, Temperance? ;-)

Approximately what time is it and what's the general weather?
