55 continued: Homewards, ghost hunting and ancient ruins...

Amara Brightsky:
Amara nodded curtly to Whispers, her anger still present, a slow ember burning inside her. She glanced back at the ravens who still seemed to not take the matter seriously. Her eyes narrowed "Lord Emesh-Ga. Please attend us. There is a matter over which we need your guidance and wisdom."

The helmet on Kobal's head glows and the Rangers hear Emesh-Ga's deep voice answering Amara

"How may I be of assistance Amara Brightsky, Ranger of Tada?"

55 continued: Homewards, ghost hunting and ancient ruins...

"Lord Emesh Ga, We are sworn to protect the Green and restore the garden, yet one of our number chose to break a taboo that jeopardises that. Unicorns are remnants of a time when the green was all around and are a living emblem of all that we stand for. Unicorns have chosen to let only women ride them, yet a male chose to ride one breaking this taboo, for no other reason than his own pleasure. You are our guardian and the closest thing we have to a guide for what once was." Amara spoke slowly and solemnly "His actions call for judgement and punishment. I feel that you are the fittest amongst us to judge his actions and determine a suitable way for him to atone for his actions."

Melock take a swig of char and is just turning to offer Amara's drink to Ohanzee, when he hears Arama's words. He's so shocked he spits out his mouthful of char and mutters under his breath, "Bitch!" He turns back to Amara and waits to hear what Emesh-Ga will say.

Looking helplessly between two comrades and friends, Hoskar's brow furrows even as his eyes widen, then close, as he slumps to his knees; leaning on the Earth Knight's shield before him.

He nods, keeping head bowed thereafter.

Aye. Judgement above ours is needed. Rivals being what they must be. Difference together. I ask for judgement - or guidance - upon myself also: what is our duty on the thing that follows me?

Amara Brightsky:
"Lord Emesh Ga, We are sworn to protect the Green and restore the garden, yet one of our number chose to break a taboo that jeopardises that. "With being a Ranger comes great responsibility. Honouring hospitality and others' possessions is certainly part of what being a Ranger is about. Unicorns are wonderful creatures from a time that is long past. Full of life and to be treated with honour. As an officer of Tada's regiments  and Earth Knight, I would punish a soldier of mine that did not live up to the laws.. But now I am but your guardian and it is up to you all to decide what should be done.

I might add for all the trouble these two Ravens cause you, they have also brought much good. That said they can be a pain in the arse at times..."

*Sigh*

Hoskar Two-Feather:
Looking helplessly between two comrades and friends, Hoskar's brow furrows even as his eyes widen, then close, as he slumps to his knees; leaning on the Earth Knight's shield before him.

He nods, keeping head bowed thereafter.

Answering Hoskar the guardian says "Shield Bearer the fate of the creature that follows you is your decision. It is not Ranger business. Look in to your heart, for the answer is there...

As for duty? You must respect life and not kill needlessly. Build a better future and ensure that the land will become Green once more."

Melock smiles smugly at Amara and walks away, "Ohanzee, would you like a cup of char, its still hot and I don't think any of my spit went in it."
