OOC Thread #10:  Commandments

Yeah, sorry.  I'll make a post tomorrow.  Busy days at work.  Getting ready for a short vacation to NYC while the grandparents watch the kids.  It's hard to choose activities.  So many things I want to do on a couple child-free days.  Ride bikes in Central Park?  Enjoy a slow-paced brunch?  See a Broadway Show?

Good luck getting tickets to Hamilton.

I'm sorry, I don't care how good a show is I'm not paying $1,000+ dollars a seat to see it.  I'll see it in five years when all the furor dies down.

Yeah, that's our thought too.  We were going to swing by the TKTS booth and see what discounted tickets we could get.  We both want to see Hamilton, but not at that price.

Any thoughts on items?  Obviously the War Razor and the Leather Armor aren't any use for Cato, though the Ring of Protection is probably useful for pretty much anyone.  Cato certainly wouldn't say no to it, though maybe someone who gets hit more in melee would get better use from it.

Sounds like stuff that might sell well in the cosmopolitan markets of Magnimar to me...It also reminds me that Kellan is desperately in need of a shopping trip.

Yeah, I think it's about that time. Unless we want to give the Foxglove Estate a closer look before we leave?

Pisca wants to look at that well in the Batcave first.

And we have to go back for Iesha too.

I'm hoping for a Bat Computer.  Wouldn't that be cool?

But, on the topic of loot, Pisca could use the Ring of Protection if she's going to continue to perform the role of shield in combats.  Pisca, as a bard, has no option for defensive spells.  But, then again, we've all been attacked at one time or another.

What might ultimately be the best option for this sort of gnome-as-shield tactic, would be a wand of Mage Armor.  Pisca's coming up on a time at which the chances of UMD success are pretty good.

Another tactical possibility I'm going to pursue is the Dervish Dance feat.

Yeah, it was great.  A great introduction to seeing an actual Broadway show.  My wife has seen more than me, but she insists that the best place to see actual musicals is Broadway.

So it sounds like Kellan is going to walk point in an effort to get past the birds, with Cato standing by to nuke it form orbit in case things get all Hitchcocky?

*Edit with an actual reply.
Yes, I think that's a good plan.  Well, perhaps not for Kellan if he gets besieged by a swarm of angry undead birds.
