Re: OOC: On the Side

Charlton and Fawcett are old school neighborhoods that went through a successful urban renewal in the early 90s, and Charlton is known for its easy going blue collar environment. lots of 100 year old apartment buildings, brownstones. Very close to Beacon College on Gold Key Avenue.

The Wizard now knows where The Wizard wishes to reside! I'll be the eccentric that lives in the top apartment of the old brownstone on Charlton Street.

Yes, high quality creations!

Um, am I the only one w/o a character sheet?
Narrator has to switch that on in GM settings,
not on by default (an rpol flaw, IMO).

Re: OOC: On the Side

I mean the actual 'edit character sheet' part of our rpol characters.

I don't have access to make one yet.

I, too, have wondered at the character sheet issue. Perhaps it's about space...
BTW, I also don't have a character sheet.

We never close!

Character Sheets are up, can I get a status up date from everyone about their character?

Do we have a "start here" thread up?  Are we interactimg 'in-character' somewhere?

Hope there's no permanent damage.
Strangely, that prompts me to wonder which I fear most, permanent damage or marks on my permanent record.

Wow.  Makes one really wonder what 'medical leave' means...?

Wife & myself & 11 mo baby spent 5 hrs in hospital today b/c we discovered our kid can't handle Peanuts.
His first taste of peanut butter was today -- and it was a quick allergy attack which got pretty impressively bad FAST.
But all is well now.  Whew!
(And now we both get to carry Epi-Pens.  Fun...)

Oh goodness.
My bubba is 22m now. And I remember her first tastes of peanut, strawberry, etc ... we all but had the car running, just in case.
I am sorry to hear that your bubba suffers such; I can only image how that must feel for you.

Now that you mention it, he reacted to strawberries also I think.

Appreciate the empathy.  We love our smooshie boy; he's a good kid.
He's big, he's a big chunka chunk o'baby squishy, he's huggable, and it's all good.

Re: OOC: On the Side

My peanut-sensitive boy's in college, but I remember the projectile vomiting.
I have to admit, there's still some guilt. I just wanted to see if he would like peanut butter.
Fortunately, the other two don't have that problem. Now that he's out of the house, they're finally discovering the joys of PB&J.

Re: OOC: On the Side

I work as a direct aid minister, and gotta say, people lately, have really, really, been off the wall. And it is not the usual drugs, crime, poverty, and booze. It has been a weird social craziness. Hard to describe.

I hear that on the food allergy stuff.I have a deadly one to shrimp and coconuts, the shrimp one being so bad that I dont even mess with fish, just to be careful. I used to carry an epi-pen, but long ago, i just toook pretty strict control of my diet. the thing you really need to watch is oil. They put peanut oil in everything. Second t that? Coconut oil.

My youngest, Duncan James, (named for Duncan Idaho from Dune) had Cats and Eggs, but now seems to have acclimated by age 5, but it was rough going at first when it came to jabs. Food allergies and kids can be some scary stuff, to be sure. Getting them to realize what they have early on, and look for trouble helps a lot.
