Re: Chapter 4: Of Crossroads and Witches
Simon: The woman waves off the question. Oh I need nothing from you good father she smiles. I only wanted a few herbs for the cook is all, I'll only be a moment. she carries a woven basket and enters, quickly grabbing a few pinches of herbs here, a few other things there. Her eyes, however, shift over the garden searchingly as she does though once again it is so fast you wonder if you imagined it. She stands up with a smile, ready to leave. Well, I'm off then. Good luck with your pursuit of Lily by the way. I saw the flowers by her door, you'll have a fine time trying to tame that one she laughs. She is all warmth and humor, as though you are old friends rather than two people who have spoken for the first time. It's hard to say if this is friendliness or nerves.
Kate: ooc: Devastating handsomeness is a wonderful and hilarious description ;P
Ian laughs at your joke, his grin lighting up his handsome face. Apparently not! Things have gone to ruin in just the few days you were gone! But then I'm sure you've already heard about that. His face grows serious then. There's all manner of rubbish afoot here. And what's this rumor about the priest and Lily? Is that just hearsay or do I need to be worried? I know he's a priest and all, but Lily is like a sister to me he frowns disapprovingly.
