Re: ooc: volume 2

I finally got the chance to read this. Really interesting stuff! It sounds pretty suspicious to me... I wish I could go back in time and investigate, because the problem is we'll probably never know for sure. This is pretty intriguing though...

Plus, he was a delivery man for a butchery, so walking about spattered with blood wasn't even unusual.

Just something funky I saw today, the rollerskating craze of the 1800s:

How silly! I love it! Somewhere my family has a picture of my grandfather skating down the highway during the Great Depression. Couldn't get away with that now...

Re: ooc: volume 2

I just finished the first season of the Netflix Daredevil show. I liked it a lot. It is extremely gory in places, but my husband tells me no where near so as Walking Dead. Vincent D'ONofrio is awesome as Kingpen. The guy who plays Matt Murdock is OK, better than the movie version by far. In all I would give 4 out of 5. Worth watching.

Re: ooc: volume 2

Walking dead is ridiculously gory. I've heard daredevil is good, I'll have to check it out! I always thought he was under used. I'm pretty wary about Affleck being batman worries me after what he was like as daredevil. Batman is my favorite superhero so I'm picky about who plays him.

By the way if I don't get the chance to post I apologize. Might have to go to the dr for something minor that sprung up. Sorry!

I feel the same way about Batman. I was so excited when they got sexy Christian Bale to play him! Now I am infuriated with Ben "No Talent" Affleck.

Take care of yourself sweety.

So my health issue turned into a kidney stone. I was at the ER all night and I'm very dehydrated and puny from so much vomiting. Needless to say no posts today, so sorry! :(

I swear I'm not quitting! With the new job and the baby and I also just rescued two week old kittens I just can't keep up right now. I'm hoping this will level off soon but for a few weeks Kate is gonna step into the background :(

No problem! Especially with kittens to consider!

So it's 3:43 a.m. and I'm trying to eat saltines so I can take my pain meds since the wretched thing hasn't passed yet. It's been 5 days since this all started and I'm going crazy. No post today, bear with me guys :(

Re: ooc: volume 2

Ouch. Sorry to hear that, good luck and get well.

And I hope to see you again soon, Kate.

I've heard good and bad things about Daredevil. But Netflix has finally come to Australia, so I can finally watch all this stuff. I just need to get through my current shows before I can check it out.

Supernatural: No, damn it, Sam, don't do that. It never ends well. Just let it go. Sigh. The last few season arcs seem to be triggered wholly by the Winchesters doing something stupid.

I'm probably going to be out all week. Went to ER again last night for dehydration. Can't stop throwing up. Sigh.

Re: ooc: volume 2

Still alive but still very sick. Was on ivs for 5 hours friday and was violently ill all afternoon/night yesterday. I'm fighting off a fever now, hopefully doesn't turn into anything more.  I was on a lot of meds so I'm hoping it's just after effects. Thanks as always for waiting guys :(

Re: ooc: volume 2

Thanks so much for your good wishes everyone! It seems to have worked cause I'm finally getting better! I have never had anything so unpleasant in my life, I've been so lucky! I have a new respect for anyone who has ever dealt with health problems and have determined I am a huge pansy, which really bothers me. I wish I had handled it with the steely resolve you hear about but I was just about the biggest whiner you'll ever meet and I'm lucky I have a family who puts up with it, lol. Oh well, I did the best I could. Maybe next time I'll be cooler.

So I'm pretty drained and I'm taking it easy this week but I will post either today or tomorrow for you guys. You've been so great for being patient and supportive and waiting for me.

You guys are only level 8 correct? I'm thinking it's time to change that...Go ahead and level up at your leisure. I will have the appropriate hunter/MoL bonuses this week though if by Friday I haven't posted them please remind me, I'm still a bit scatter brained from everything.

Re: ooc: volume 2

Just to let everyone know, I am going with Acolyte. I have been building to this for the last few levels, and now I can. It will greatly open my "spell" selection. I know having a pure caster in the group often changes how people advance.

Are you still a Shadow Hunter?

I might dip into Mage, if I qualify now. Otherwise, it's another level of Investigator.
