Re: ooc: volume 2

1. Nominate Enemy for Dodge feat
2. That enemy misses melee attack
3. You get extra AoO.

Re: ooc: volume 2

So does that work with guns? Is my only attacker like auto selected for it or do I have to go out of my way every time to say so? Do I roll the aoo or does the gm during their post?

Thanks in advance! I've just never seen that feat before haha

Re: ooc: volume 2

I never watched Bones. I have to admit, my mother is the detective fan, I just overhear, but I don't think she ever read Reichs or watched Bones.

I have Agile Riposte. It only works with melee weapons, and can happen whenever the target misses you. I usually roll an additional attack in advance if I think it might happen, or else I roll an attack after I found out they missed me. It's fun for a duelist style, but I'm not sure how effective it is.

No

Between you and GM, but I suggest putting a standing "whoever attacks me in melee is my Dodge opponent," kind of thing so that you have it in a a pm.

Josephine Hartley:

Agan that is a GM call.

Re: ooc: volume 2

I love Bones! Though I'm a couple seasons behind.

And I'm not picky regarding announcing who you're dodge is against. If there's multiple guys attacking you at once, sure you can let me know but if it's one on one I will assume. And you can feel free to roll an extra attack in advance like Penny does or I can do it for you, whatever floats your boat!

By the way guys, I'm crazy sick. I have been for a while and now I think I'm getting another strain of the same thing. Hopefully not because I am so done with this crap! So I will probably post on Thursday. My apologies!

We seem to have gotten the whole demonic pact thing backwards. I bet he even met Penny at a crossroads. :D

Re: ooc: volume 2

Thanks for your patience everyone. So last week my uncle died unexpectedly and it's thrown a bummer on things ever since. I just can't seem to get myself to do anything. I'm going to indulge my sluggishness until the new year and then I've got to start doing things again! So expect a post from me next week and thanks again guys.

Re: ooc: volume 2

Thanks everyone. I appreciate it. I'll try to post a bit. Things are pretty screwy because I'm trying to help my aunt with her finances. She doesn't know how to pay her bills because my uncle did everything for her and of course he did it online through a weird semi-automatic process and conveniently didn't leave a password...My advice is to make sure your lives are in order! You don't want to screw the people left behind. It's really frustrating that she has been so stubbornly dependent on him this whole time and then is frantically needing SOOOOOOOOOO much help now. I'm trying not to resent the both of them but it's hard. She's a grown up, she should have had this figured out by now. Sigh.

And Alice, that's pretty dang messed up!
