Chapter 8.7: Telegrams & Train rides
ooc: Luckily for you it was my turn to roll bad!
Possession? You didn't tell me that! he grumbles. Though I can't say I'm surprised. Just be ready for things to go south. It may be that you can't save him and if that's the case, you need to be ready for whatever happens he warns darkly. Castiel nods his agreement, no doubt anticipating the same thing.
Eventually you find yourselves far across town, on the lakefront stretch full of warehouses, docks, and other such buildings of commerce. By now it's about ten o'clock and you see a few stragglers here and there, milling about their businesses, though they are clearly closed. Most don't offer you a second glance, nor you them. They seem harmless enough. Your new companion, Tully is his name, directs you to a string of about five buildings, all darkened and seemingly abandoned. It will take all night if we search one by one. I think we should split up. But don't go poking around inside, just take a looksy through some windows, see if there aren't signs of life and then come back and find us. No one is being stupid tonight got it?
With that he strides off to take the first one, Cas obediently finding a building himself. You are left with the nearest, which is smaller than the others. From what you can see it looks deserted enough. Dark inside with broken windows and layers of dust. You're just about to move on to the next building though when you swear you see a flicker of light through a window on the top floor, as though someone passed by a window with a candle or lantern. Then, just as quickly it is gone.
Should you decide to try to find the others, to your concern, they are nowhere to be found.
