Re: Ooc: Volume 3
Yeah, we were all really surprised that this huge buff guy who served in the military was undone by a tiny little kitten, but he really really was. Now, living with her for five days or so, I actually get it. She just pounces out of nowhere and attacks you. For someone with massive anxiety issues (our friend), it's very triggering since his ptsd centers around being unexpectedly attacked, among other things. Unfortunately his girlfriend is having a hard time sympathizing and he may just lose her over this. It's a really annoying situation to be in honestly. He's neglected his mental health too long and it may cost him the best woman he's ever met and WE have to pay the price for it with this little holy terror running around like a maniac. Plus, this is the second girlfriend we've had to help through his ptsd issues. They always come running to us, and I'm happy to help, but it's just not very nice to be so heavily involved in other people's relationships you know? They're grown ups, they need to be able to communicate with EACH OTHER. And I adore our friend, he's an amazing person, but he really needs to put in the hard work and get help or he's going to ruin his life. No one can do this but him. Oh well. At least the dumb kitten is cute, even though she's interrupted this post three times by getting on the kitchen table... ;p
