I should be able to post again now, though not as often. Maybe once a week. Sorry for inconvenience.

By the way, my week is truly hellish. I have a bunch of crap to do and I'm covering for work. I'll try to slip in a post somewhere though. Thanks guys!

Guys, it's definitely time to level up!

You should be level 11 now, because if I'm not mistaken it's been over a year since you became level 10. Ooops...I'll add bonuses for men of letters and hunters next week when I get a chance. Thanks!

Ah. Oops. I forgot to level up to 10, I was on level 9 the whole time. :\ (Since it was so soon after we'd made level 9, I was in no hurry for 10, got busy, forgot about it, then couldn't work out if I should be 9 or 10.) So now I have two levels to add. :)

I vote to make dicerolling not required for certain players.

Certain people may opt to simply "always succeed" and that must be followed by the GM, because even with a year straight of that, it still would barely balance out at like 40% victories.

Hahahaha! Nice try Jo... ;P Though you do have the worst luck of any player I've ever encountered. I'd feel sorry for you if it weren't so funny!

And good catch Penny! I'm pretty bad at keeping track of people's sheets since they are kind of all over the place. In my other game I forget to level people up too and sometimes I'll remember 2 years later and they have 2-3 levels to make up for and it's really funny because mid fight they are suddenly summoning dragons or turning into flaming bears and it's hilarious.

So feel free to try to keep me on track when it comes to leveling guys...sorry about that!

I choose those two options for my levels up.

Re: Ooc: Volume 3

The backdoor pilot for the Wayward Sisters spinoff was on last night. I liked it, it really fit the Supernatural style while being new and focused on the girls. It was better integrated with the series than the last attempted spin-off, by reusing characters long established in the series, while introducing the new characters over a few episodes.

Re: Ooc: Volume 3

I'm still a couple seasons behind...We've been rewatching 24 since our 10 year anniversary is coming up and we used to watch that show together while dating. It's a bit consuming at the moment. But I'm really glad to hear this spin off has better potential! I want good things for it because I do really like some of the characters in it so fingers crossed it doesn't tank!

And nice try Jo ;P That would be pretty epic though!

Re: Ooc: Volume 3

Haha! No promises Jo!!

So I'm writing a book and I have a question. Which do you think is better, a meaningless death or a meaningful death? Basically one of the characters dies in battle simply because it's a battle and it's realistic. One of my beta readers thinks they should die saving someone instead because it would feel more meaningful. My argument is that crap happens and it's much more realistic for it to come out of the blue and surprise you. It almost seems cliche the other way. But as readers what do you prefer? Thanks!

Re: Ooc: Volume 3

When you kill me in my next round, make it realistic. Meaningful stuff is for the books...

...wait crap it's a book. Make it matter! It might be realistic but nobody reads fiction to get back to reality they read it to escape reality

Hahaha! Will do Jo!!

And you make an excellent point! Thanks! I'll try to figure out a happy medium without being cliche.

Re: Ooc: Volume 3

Either way can work, but it depends on the situation and what you're aiming for, what theme the book has and what point you're trying to make. A critique of war might make it pointless and tragic, while one about people supporting each other might have the rescue.

Re: Ooc: Volume 3

Irish. Think Debra Ann Woll from True Blood or the Daredevil NEtflix series:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2832695/?ref_=tt_cl_t2
But slightly more masculine, meaning less pretty, and much more cowgirl than model chick

Thanks! Good advice! I ended up kind of mish mashing the suggestions so that she dies while distracted warning someone else. So it's not the overdone diving in front of an arrow or bullet situation but it hopefully is less meaningless. Thanks everyone!

And I finally saw Daredevil btw. She's really good in that so I think I get what you're looking for Alice. At least we'll find out if I do...Same strawberry blonde hair then? Not that I plan on coloring it...

Bring back the hamsters! :D

I don't have a clear actress in mind for Penny, the portraits I've used have kind of taken over in my mind. And I had no idea what my original random height and weight represented. I need to make some tweaks.
