Ok, so seven years is a long time to keep track of stuff, even for me as the GM. So this is the thread to remember random crap that is important to the story and you can draw on later:

Feel free to add to it if you remember important stuff too, especially about your character.

Belial is a very high ranking demon who wants to bring about an early apocalypse so he can rule the world. You know, classic demon stuff. He's gained a massive following by pretending he's going to unleash an even higher demon named Baal, who has his own cult called the Hand of Baal. In reality, Belial will seize the apocalypse for himself, leaving Baal in hell in spite of his promises. There is a faction of demons and monsters etc who follow Belial, full well knowing he is deceiving the hand of Baal. The hand, however, do not know he is a liar, and think they are working to unleash their master. Some of these cult members have actually been recruited by the men of letters to help fight against Belial, since he has been using them. Others, are still completely ignorant.

Belial, himself, walks the earth in seemingly intact form, but in reality it's only a shadow of his actual power and abilities. He is projecting himself via possession of a human, but his powers are greatly limited and the bulk of him is trapped in a cage in hell, bound by the blood of two ancient, and evil families who swore fealty to him since their beginnings. The Blaeden family and the Darkmoor family. On the summer solstice, the opportunity will arise for him to be freed by using Penny, the only person who was born of both a Darkmoor and a Blaeden. She will become the key to release him.

Meanwhile, it has been discovered that the Ring of Solomon has been found, Emma Bently knew it's location and now you have possession of it. What you need is the seal to unlock the abilities of the key, which would allow you to have power over demons, compelling them to obey and thus preventing Belial's plans from coming to fruition. Time is ticking, and the solstice nears. Will you make it back in time, with the seal activated correctly? Or will Belial take Penny and force her to open his cage by sacrificing her life?

Another detail regarding the cage and Penny. The cage was sealed by Darkmoor and Blaeden blood and can only be unlocked by a mixture of the two. Penny is a child of both bloodlines, so she is vital. Besides unlocking his cage, the ritual that Belial needs Penny for will actually take the matter from her body and form into a new vessel for Belial. A perfect body, enhanced, all powerful, giving him strength from the two oldest bloodlines-intermingled with the power of the solstice. He will be more than a mere demon. He will become something fit to surpass even Lucifer himself. A being made of flesh turned into power.
