Just had to have my oldest pet rat to sleep, she was very old and very poorly, had stopped running about and over the last few days, stopped eating or drinking as much as she really should have been, partly because she was struggling to move with a few cancerous tumours affecting her legs.  She is at peace now but I'm a bit of a mess but having to focus on Religious Festivals at work.  So if my head appears a bit confuddled, please forgive me.

No one is posting.

Does that mean it's time to delete this game?

I not much has been posted lately but if I don't respond for today to tomorrow, it's because its my 50th birthday today and may be very busy.

A slow pace game is working for me. Though I do have to reread whats going on every once in awhile.

Me too on the rereading, not quite dementia though it feels that way sometimes lol.
Would prefer a bit faster.

A belated happy birthday, Tealon!

RL issues seem to be happening way too often for me. The latest (among a few other issues) is that my girlfriend's dog was stolen yesterday morning.

She's a mess, which pretty much means I'm a mess along with her.

On another note, I see Danyka checked the board two days ago but hasn't posted in 10 months!

I don't know whether to count her as a player any more or not.


On a third note (does that make it a chord?), the idea had for the direction of the game doesn't seem to be working very well. I wasn't expecting to be floundering myself so much; was hoping others would 'fill in the blanks' kind of thing.

Anyone have any suggestions for a new direction for the game?

I think we were waiting for a kind of "You go about the business of setting up a more permanent base on the island over the next few weeks, occasionally getting a visit from the people you have been having discussions with in order to assess the goings on of {insert local bad guy's name which I've forgotten}.

The foundations for the harbour and factory are set in place, the cave having been made more accessible, has been widened and living space created.

Tealon, utilising the forge on his wagon and the furnaces of the ship, is in the process of getting the factory in motion, at least, for now it has production."

Hard for me to say. I kinda jumped in the middle of everything going on. Was still getting a feel of whats going on and my PC.

I'll be away in Scotland (next to Roslin Chapel of Di Vinci Code fame) starting Monday for the next week.  I should be back by Saturday.  It's a 4.5hr drive each way and no Wifi.  I may still be able to get on but...I may be pre-occupied as it's for my 50th Birthday (which was in October) and with family.

Yep. Still waiting for me. Kind of fumbled my brain there for a bit. Or maybe it's shrinkage due to old age.

Then last week I developed another computer problem... suddenly didn't have any wifi. After going to the computer shop, I was told it might be a Windows update that screwed up the software. Not going to be able to afford to get it fixed for awhile, but I'm borrowing a laptop to try and get caught up on everything.

So today, I turned on the borrowed computer and Windows did an update! Guess what? Wifi was gone again!

After a bit, it occurred to me that others might be having the same problem so maybe there was a solution on the internet. Found a video that offered three solutions. First one didn't work, but the second one did. I had to uninstall the wifi software and then reboot the computer.

Neither of those worked on the borrowed computer, though.

I had this exact same thing 3wks ago with my spare pc not having been turned on since Oct last year. Took ages to get it sorted. I feel your pain.

At least we can build, prepare and sort out this promaxim issue now.

I'm finding that with the CORVID-19 Self-Isolating thing that is going on, it is a time where this community can help each other out.

When we can't go out, at least we are here.

More computer issues. Screen went wonky... flickering horizontal lines across the whole screen... making it impossible to see what I type or the button to post. Turning it off for a few hours resets it for a little while.

Had to fix the wifi problem with the older backup computer, but it's got a battery problem...
