"Yes, we have a quarantine facility, plus this entire base is capable of quarantine, as is the Gate Room itself," Hammond replies.

"Our experiences so far have indicated that there's little out there that's naturally dangerous to us, since the Ancients and the Goa'uld have transplanted humans all over the galaxy."

"There might be a mutation now and then, or an artificially created virus, but we have learned our lesson the hard way."

At Lucky's arrival, the General smiled.

"Technically, you've been reassigned to SG-X1, Sergeant Wheeler. But glad to have you here anyway. Status is currently pending."

Re: SGC: Gate Room (Level 28)

Lizzy would get ready for incoming, she just looked at the shimmering portal, that traveled to other worlds, wow pretty awesome. " Very good Sir, just getting prepared for the worse Sir. We might want to at least seal the Gate Room until we know what we are dealing with Sir."

Lizzy did feel like she was being followed and then when she found out she was being followed, Lizzy would turn to Sergeant Wheeler nod and say," Dr. McKeon first day here."

Re: SGC: Gate Room (Level 28)

"Sorry General, I misunderstood our attachment to SG-X1 after Aerielle was temporary." Lucky replied, his cheeks flushing a bit with embarrassment. Still, since he was not dismissed or sent back to rest, he was mainly just happy to be able to help. He nodded politely as the Doctor introduced herself, "Gunnery Sergeant Lucas Wheeler, but everyone calls me either Gunny or Lucky."

Re: SGC: Gate Room (Level 28)

It takes a few minutes, but SG-X2 starts coming through the gate.

Carter helps Bjorn through the gate, followed by Stewart.

Hendricks, Ward and McGuinness come through then carrying/dragging a Minotaur.

And the gate shuts down a minute later.

Jackie blinks for a second.

" Bjorn and the Minotaur are injured, um, Doctor. "

Jackie then straightens her uniform and composes herself.

“Hypoxia. Bjorn lost consciousness and his blood ox level dropped to 90. The Minotaur was exposed for much longer. Not sure what’s in the gas that’s causing the issue, but I did bring back samples.” She looks at the new Doctor. “Hi Doc. United States Air Force Staff Sergeant Karen Stewart para-rescue.” She’s says as she double checks the blood ox monitor. “Bjorn’s been on the mask for about 15. Blood ox is back up to 96. Kyle and Coleman were also exposed. Kyle’s blood ox only dropped to 98, Coleman’s dropped to 96. Coleman was also previously exposed. Technically I was too, when I grabbed the sample, but was wearing gloves.””

Re: SGC: Gate Room (Level 28)

Lizzy will head to Bjorn and begin a quick assessment of his condition, as she looked over Bjorn she would say," Thank you Staff Sergeant Stewart, United States Navy Lieutenant Elizabeth McKeon you can call me Lizzy. Yes the samples will help immensely." She will check out Bjorn and the Minotaur closely and see if their is anything that jumps out at her.

Lizzy will then say, " Very good, get the Minotaur and Bjorn to the Infirmary immediately, everyone else needs to be checked out as well." Lizzy will stay with Bjorn checking his vitals and his condition as they get ready to head to the infirmary.

"Kyle McGuinness. I'm fine thank you," said Kyle, who didn't like seeing the medics even when he was ill, never mind when he wasn't!

He stood back to let the medics cart Bjorn and the minotaur off, then headed off to the archaelogy section to organise all the notes he'd brought back into something coherent.

Lizzy while checking on Born and the Minotaur she would look at Kyle, and she would say,Mr. McGuinness you will please report to the infirmary as well, you where exposed to a known gas we have to make sure you are all clean. That is an order Mr. McGuinness.

Lizzy wouldn't skip a beat as she got the others ready for transport.

"Minotaur? Right." Lucky repeated after Dr. McKeon and helped get the alien on the gurney. He looked at Kyle, "This will go a lot easier if you cooperate and get it over with."  Then merely shook his head as  the scientist stormed off, tempted to say something but held his tongue. "Doc, does our visitor go to the infirmary or does he get special quarters?"

Lizzy will look at Lucky and say,I would bring the Minotaur to the Infirmary first just to be safe.

Lizzy will then ask Bjorn how he is feeling and what his symptoms are,as she goes with him on a gurney to the Infirmary.

Karen follows the group down. "Just so you know, the Minotaurs speak Latin. If you need a translator, Kyle, Ward or myself can do that." She adds as she walks. "Shoot. I forgot to ask Tauranchula this one's name." She shakes her head. "There's one other back there, Ershak. He'd been exposed for a week and was still alive." She looks at Lucas. "Oh. Hello by the way."

Lizzy would look at Karen smile and say, " Thank you I speak Latin, my parents made me when I went into the medical field."  Lizzy would make sure Bjorn and the Minotaur where ready for transport, and she said," Okay lets move everyone to the Infirmary, all members of SG-X2 as well. "

Lizzy will then have the two gurneys wheeled too the Infirmary. She will follow them down to the Infirmary, keeping a close eye on Bjorn as they went.

Lucky was watching Major Carter when SSgt Stewart caught him off guard, "Hi. Looks like you had an interview trip." As he made small talk. His disposition lightened and he offered a slight smile, before starting to push the gurney with the minotaur.

Re: SGC: Gate Room (Level 28)

"Schedule gate activation in 42 minutes," came the intercom announcement in the gate room. It was meant to warn anyone who was working in the gate room that the wormhole would open and that they needed to make sure they were clear of that area.

"Outbound gate to X3F-1622 for team SG-X2," the announcement continued.

By the time SG-X2 began to arrive at the gate room, a FRED was already there. It had an extended stretcher mounted on the top that held an unconscious Minotaur.

"He's still unconscious," Dr. Frasier explained to Coleman and Lizzy when they arrived. "He was exposed to the drug for a much longer period of time than any of the rest of your team, so it's taking him a lot longer to flush it out of his system."

"I could have sped that up some, but then he might have woken in a strange place. I've been monitoring him, though. He should regain consciousness in about another hour. However, without knowing more about Minotaur physiology, I can't say if there will be any long-term effects. I don't think so, but I'm not sure. The most I expect he'll experience might be some temporary amnesia."

Re: SGC: Gate Room (Level 28)

Kyle turned up about 10 minutes before they were due to leave, still clutching his notes which were in slightly better order. He'd picked up a couple of new notebooks and extra SD cards for his camera.

Somewhere along the way he'd lost his hat.

Lizzy will wait for further orders, she was a little nervous since she had no clue what to expect. She will say to the General," Sir I do not know what to expect I have had no briefing other than what I know from a medical standpoint Sir?"

"Thanks," said Kyle, taking the hat. He hadn't noticed it had gone, he didn't care for them much. Oh, he could see a need for a helmet in combat, but not a soft one. What did that add?

Re: SGC: Gate Room (Level 28)

The General is up in the control room, not down on the Gate Room floor, but Lizzy's question is direct up to him.

He replies: "My apologies for that, Doctor, but sometimes things move a bit fast around here. Other times, it's a waiting game."

"There's nothing I can add that Dr. Frasier didn't already explain to you or that Lieutenant Colonel Hendricks can't brief you on."
