I probably reacted more strongly than needed, as you in fact said that in the first place. And it's not like this was a particular challenge, because OMNIS already located them and wouldn't have denied you the information.
I guess what got my hackles up was that you introduced this thing which I considered to a fun element but entirely too coarse to be of much practical use, and then rapidly assigned it new powers giving it pinpoint accuracy. I mean, what can an observatory for all of time and space
not find?
