What Magnus said!  There is definitely something going on and I'm not sure what.  My only guess is that it may have something to do with the Duke's strategic plans, but that'sonly a guess.  Hopefully more info will reveal itself down the road.  And hopefully Runt will be back to the safety of Craine.  ;-)

That is just some great work there in Stoking the Flames.  Each of your last posts are superb.  I've thoroughly enjoyed reading that thread and the conclusion was tops.  I can only hope that someday we find out what the heck is going on behind the scenes.

Maybe Giles has a new goal :)

Hear hear!  I'll admit that thread was remarkably hard to write for.  I had to take a lot of time to try and get into the NPC's headspace, then figure out how they would react, all while trying to get across the pertinent information for the background of the game.  Thanks Magnus and Giles for the superb role play along the way to keep me on my toes and prevent it being just a story written by the GM.

I've no idea actually I can't imagine it'll happen for at least 1month at a minimum. There's an official period of mourning. It could even be a year, but i'm not sure.

All, this week is rough for me.  I travel tomorrow, and have had the kids to myself for the past few days.  I'm hoping I'll be able to pick things up again on Wednesday, though my trip this time is probably going to be fairly busy.  In any case, things should be back to normal next week.

I'm back home and posting again, though I've been prioritizing the caves players because the same amount of work hits five players rather than just one.  I'm hoping to get a few posts up this week for everyone here too, though I might not have another chance to get anything done until tonight or later.

I've turned this OOC thread back to group 0 so that everyone can see it.  Caves players, please continue to use the other thread for OOC messages that may pertain to your adventure so that Runt isn't privy to it.

The reason I wanted everyone together is for the following announcement:  I've decided I'm not starting any new threads until I can pick up the pieces of the game after my deployment.

The reasons for this are many and boring, but include all the normal excuses such as:  my detach date has shifted earlier than I had expected, which means I'm leaving around Christmas time, I have taken on too many things at the moment to keep up with everything, I need to start shifting my focus towards work, and I just don't see me being able to finish anything that I have started from this point on.

I will continue to work the threads I have going to the best of my ability, and based on what happens in the next few posts all the threads may quickly become public so that there is more reading material available for those that are interested.  I'm hoping that I can finish everyone up before I go but I doubt that I can really make any promises.

Apologies to Magnus and Giles, who are the ones directly hit by this.  If anyone wishes me to drop them from the game based on its impending inactivity, I'm happy to do so.

Again, I can't make promises either on what is going to happen when I get back, though at the very least I'll do my best to make an update in game on what commitments I can or cannot take on.

No worries at all about the delay. One, you have every reason to delay things a bit, but I am also still finding a balance with my new responsibilities and my recreation time.

Definitely better now than it was a few months ago, but we will see if it lasts!

Like the others I have been super impressed that you're able to deliver the goods so consistently with your busy life of work, wife, kids, hobbies and all those times you sold dope disguised as a nun.
