Having regained somewhat of his nerve and not liking the sound of all those eyes any more than Bully does, Dregz tells his boon companions what he saw in the other two visions that the Forya en' i' Leitha vouchsafed ...

"Der uvver fings I sawses wuz scary too !"

"In der wun wid der old humie , 'e wuz on a boneses thronses an' 'e 'ad dis yeller crystul, an' annuver old humie wizzard wuz killin' diz knight wid a wivvering pupple ray dat comes from 'iz staffses !"

The little goblin is relieved that the Black Mace counseled leaving that one till later.

OOC: Official Transcript: Dregz sees a vision of an old man seated on a throne made of skulls and bones. He is rolling a yellow, gleaming crystal in one hand but is not paying attention to it as he is intently watching the human knight standing in front of him as the unfortunate knight is slowly and agonisingly aged and withered by a ray of purple light from a staff held by an elderly mage standing beside the throne.

"An' in der secund wun diz elf inna pointy 'at 'ad dese fancy gloveses an' 'e wuz tellin' dese uvver elfses dat 'e wuz der frend an' 'e wuz in charge 'an it wuz der glovses dat made dem believes 'im ... and sum uvver elf sed dat dey 'ad catched some orcses dat 'ad attakted dem, an' der boss elf sez dat 'es gonna integrate dem termorrer."

OOC: Official Transcript: Dregz sees a vision of a male elf dressed in a long robe and pointed hat. His hands are covered by dark leather gloves with patterns of swirling, multi-coloured lines embroidered onto the palms, which are clearly visible as he waves then in arcane gestures toward a pair of unarmed elves standing in front of him, flanked by four heavily armed elven guards. The mage speaks in Elvish and Dregz understands what he is saying. He is basically telling the elven prisoners that he is their friend and respected leader; there is no reason to question his orders as he always knows best and always acts in the best interests of his people and especially his friends. The elven prisoners, if that is what they were, seem completely reassured by the mage's words and are allowed to leave with no further sign of watchfulness by the guards. Moments after they leave, the door of the chamber opens again and another elven guard steps in, bowing respectfully to the mage before reporting, "My Lord, a band of orcs attacked the village last night. We suffered several casualties but the wards delayed the orcs long enough so we were able to defend the village. More orcish blood was shed than elvish blood and we managed to capture a dozen of them alive. We have brought them for you to interrogate, My Lord."

The mage nods thoughtfully before responding. "You have done well. Take them to the dungeons and lock them up securely. I will interrogate them tomorrow after I have made the appropriate preparations."

The little goblin priest considers.  "Mebbee if wese kilt der boss elf an' all der uvver elfses an' freed der orcses wese could asks dem abouts dis boss orc wid all der eyes ?"

Bulldust begs to change his vote.

"Oo Oo!  Deres elfs!  We should catch dat elf an pull is pointy hat down ova is pointy ears!  Den we should kill all dem ovver elfs fer livin so long.  Dats a better deal den a hunnert orcs!"  He tries to sweeten the deal even further.  "An we can set dose orcs free ... or give dem all nuffles or somefing ... den dey can help us wiv de ovver orc wiv all da yella eyes, of jus join im if dat's dere fing, so long as dey's not helpin elfs."

Jurz shugs, he doesn't really have a preference, and he doesn't even bother asking this time.  The stick will only be interested in the gloves.  The Elf is fair game though ....

Minmorc will cock an eye brow "I fink Bully wants ter go fight elves."

OOC: ...squirms and looks up from his mobile phone sheepishly.  "ELFS!" had not looked so mangled on his Mac screen earlier.

"Dats alright, we should do da orc first like we already decided."  Bulldust seems a bit calmer now and brings some bugbear logic to the discussion.  "Elfs live too long anyhow, so dey'll still be dere after we finish wiv da orc!  Orcs don't live dat long, so we should go now and get 'im before somefing else kills 'im first."  He's ready to go.

The little goblin priest isn't really fond of any of the options, and if it wasn't his religious duty to follow the path that Bargrivyek has set for him, he'd be heading in the opposite direction.  But it is, so he won't.

"Elfses or Orcses ... glovses or maskses ?" he ponders, weighing up both.  Gloves that control the mind on one hand against a scary mask and scarier numbers of eyes on the other.

"Dey bothses affectses der mind," Dregz wisely surmises. "'Ow duz wese stop dat ?"

"We's stop de mind dat is using dem?"  Jurz suggests.

"Moffa says dat she has der spells dat can make us not listen to dem when dey do talks.  Min has de spell dat makes dem quiet.  I have de stick dat says I can do de spells if dey make me quiet.  Den min and Bully mangles dem so dat dey can't talks no more.  An Moffa can get der summonny fing, dat won't listen to dem anyway?"  Jurz suggests a very simple plan, based on what the others have said and done.

"I fink den, dat you and me's need to kills  any ovver elves or orcses dat are dere …"

"He he he!" Moffdust snickers delightedly as Jurzie's plan unfolds. "I does de circles of protections on my liddle selfs, an dat one protects youse if youse stays close, den udder protections on Bully an Min cos dey never stays close."

With a toothy grin she adds "Leaves all dat can be spared in de bags. We's travels light. Let's hunts some Orcses!"

Minmorc seems enthralled in the idea of planning an attack. "Are we gunna magic jump right in der middle or like sneaky sneaky ter der side. Coz if we jumpin right in I can gets lotsa nuffle blessings pumpin before we get stuck in!"

Minmorc raises an interesting point ... up till now, the Magic Stick had always delivered them to the closest surface point to the next segment, but now it was whole and had revealed itself to be Furyuz, all bets were off.

"C'n youse duz dat ?" the little goblin priest asks the Magic Stick (as he will always think of it).  "C'n youse take uzes to der spotses wese wantses, eiver inna middle or a bit furver awayses ?"

Forya en' i' Leitha's reply is as patient and dispassionate as ever.

"I can teleport you to any destination you desire, although the same limitations that you have surely experienced already will still apply. I can only teleport to and from the surface of this world, or in direct line of sight within a cavern or building. I cannot teleport you directly to the mage who wears those gloves as he was inside a building. I cannot teleport you directly to the war chief wearing the mask as he was inside a cavern. However, I can teleport you as close or as far from either one as you wish and in whichever direction from them that you wish. If you wish to arrive on the surface 100 yards to the north of either one, I can take you there. If you wish to arrive on the roof of the building directly above the gloves, I can take you there. If you wish to arrive on the surface of this world directly above the mask wearer's cavern, I can take you there too."

"Mr Forya, can yer takes us ter der Ogre kingdom? I wanna trade stuff so dat I'm more killy. I'm pretty killy right now but a hundred orks is a lotta orks, might need ter get cunnin fer der killin."

"What ogre kingdom are you talking about, orc?" Forya en' i' Leitha asks. "If the wielder has seen it I can take you there. If the Black Mace has been there before I can take you there. If the wielder can explain clearly enough where he wishes to go, I can take you there."

"Youse meanses Gorna ?"  Dregz asks Min, trying to picture the place in his mind.  Many things have happened and he's passed a lot of water since then, so it's no easy task.

"S' a big city wiv brokeded walls, fulla Ogrez" he begins tentatively, hoping someone else will chip in with their own recollections - and that Furyuz will get the gist of it.

"Gorna?  Dat was a nasty place, but it had de good shops" he recalls, Did you'se have a bit of de magic stick, den?  Or did youse start finding it later?" Jurz asks the hairy goblin.

After a lot of head scratching and discussion the team remember that they found the first parts of the Black Mace on an unfortunate thief who had teleported into the graveyard outside a temple in Gorna where Team Arda-Nuff was camping overnight. The thief was ripped apart by ghouls in the graveyard but the team found the first two segments of the Black Mace on his body. After some adventures in and under Gorna the team teleported away from the laneway outside that same temple in Gorna.

When the temple and graveyard are described, Forya en' i' Leitha immediately recognises that as a place it has been before and confirms it can teleport you there, or anywhere nearby using that as a reference point.

"I reckon we should kill a bunch of orks, go shopping an den kill a bunch of elves. Dey like controlling peoples minds so it's der right fing ter do."

"Dat waz de place where dey had the humbugz!" Jurz recalls suddenly, "I'se like Humbugz."

OOC:  According to my reckoning -  we still have 93 of the crystals to divide between us.

OOC: Minmorc doesn't actually have much spare cash or treasure, he has invested heavily in weapons and would be loathe to give up any. He is very keen to go looting before going back to Gorna, however he won't complain about wherever the black mace and Dregz choose to take him.

OOC:  Bulldust is broke too, apart from the remaining crystals that Jurz mentioned, which Bully has already shared out so everyone has 17 of those (17*50=850gp each).  Not really enough to go shopping with, so Bully agrees we should go loot the orcs then visit the ogre city market.

Moffdust agrees. We should ask Mr Magic Stick to land us on the surface directly above the mask wearer's cavern. We can scout from there.

"When wes gets back ter de cities, wes can goes ter dat temples an opens up de humies' treasure-houses dat woz in de corpses-gardens outside. Dey has more golds in dems."

"Hokay den ..." Dregz ushers everyone to gather close, then when they're all ready, asks Furyuz to transport the group as Moffa suggests.

Jurz and Rog gather around, and wait for the jump ...

After lengthy discussion of the options, Team Arda-Nuff finally decides it is time to head east to pay a visit to an orcish war chief - to punch him in the mouth and poke his eye out, apparently.

Everyone assembles in the cold night air on the ledge outside the crystal dragon's tunnel and Dregz holds the Black Mace aloft and speaks the magic word, "Wyrd!"

There is the sound of a sudden rush of air and they all vanish from the mountain ledge.
