Hours pass and Arek and Iviana conduct a third round of healing with three spells cast by each of them. Everyone is now fully healed, all familiars and the dogs (and Tindoome) have Armour spells in place. Gwythe is Invisible.

We've waited a good while. I have very little in the way of healing energies left. You could say I'm running near empty. What about you Arek? I know it's boring, but another meditation period would allow us to continue on full"

GM the Third:
OOC: Tindoome has the rope, and yes it lashes out and binds several unsuspecting PCs with the first word, releasing them with the second.
The longsword was Kaladors and is currently slightly pitted by the digestive acids of the pudding.

Iviana was carrying Heartseeker only because nobody else put up their hand. To my knowledge she's always been happy to pass it on to somebody who could actually use it.


Does anybody want any of that equipment or are we leaving it here in the chapel? Is Gwythe properly clothed and equipped yet? I presume someone has (or will) cast Detect Magic to determine if the shield is actually magical or not?

Yew will carry the crossbow of speed and case of 40 bolts if no one else wants to have it.

Yew has taken the dagger Heartseeker and given Iviana his other (+1?) magical dagger in exchange.

Ronalt will put the Arrows, normal x12 & Arrows, silver-tipped x13 in his gear to supplement his waning supplies.

I already have taken the flaming sword and shield IC

I'm happy to carry the lightweight stuff for splitting later (I'm pretty strong, and don't need to worry about encumbrance too much)

Gwythe will take the backpack, candle, rope, daggers, standard rations, large sack, and thieves tools. If no one takes all the money and jewellery he'll take that as well :)

As he will be carrying the crossbow Yew decides to leave his halberd behind, as it has just proven too slow and heavy in his recent experience. He packs iron rations for 4 days into his backpack but takes none of the other equipment left by Kalador, so he remains lightly loaded.

"Lightweight stuff" includes the monetary stuff, I forgot: what was your profession again Gwythe? I'm reminded of a nearly appropriate line from Sharpe. "It's hard to trust someone who asks to borrow a lockpick"

I'm presuming everything not being carried will be stashed in the crypt or the shrine hopefully for later collection?

Consider detect magic having been cast by somebody in the last 18 hours or so.
Kalador's (now Iviana's) shield is confirmed as magical. Everything else is as you already knew.

Last chance to alter selected spells and update your character sheets (don't forget your hit points!!!) before we move on.

When the party is fully rested and recharged Yew is as keen as everyone else to get started. The hours of practice, meditation and sleep are taxing even his great reserves of patience.

"Are we agreed to explore more upstairs and search for a way out of this dungeon or for someone who can be persuaded to show us the way?" he asks. "I have seen no evidence to believe that the troll king Oohlgrist will ever be persuaded to aid us."

Iviana joined the others. Although she walked lightly, being an elf, she still made more noise than she would like in the plate mail. She had the shield in her left hand, but her right hand was free to allow easy spell casting. She wasn't a match for some of the others in melee combat and she knew it.
