Up again

At the top of the stairs, the corridor runs west for a few dozen feet before swinging south. Screams of agony can be heard reverberating from the walls down the passage.

Re: Up again

Gwythe reaches the top of the stairs, leading the way with his weapon. He takes in the corridor at a glance, and then strides down the corridor against the way, peeking around the corner as it turns to the left.

Re: Up again

Amathaon drew his falchion upon hearing the screams. He said, "Gwythe, where are the screams coming from? What direction?"

Re: Up again

Ronalt's ears rang from the screams, 'magic or more prisoners.'
Pushing forward, he moved quietly down the corridor; looking for the source.

Re: Up again

"This is quite  likely a fight among themselves, or a mirage" Iviana said hopefully. The screams sounded awful "Can you scout types check it out?". She had her hand on the hilt of her sword, but didn't draw it just yet, not knowing if she would need it

Re: Up again

Amathaon followed Ronalt. He used his superior vision to detect anything he could.

Re: Up again

Brother Yew moved forward with the scouting party, too. He endeavoured to move as quietly as their speed would allow, although that was probably pointless with his companions more heavily equipped than he, and all that screaming up ahead.
