A2 S1: Under the Red Dome
Yanaho leads you and the slaves carrying your trunk follow. Crossing the courtyard that separates the main building from the surrounding wall you enter a huge building.
It is a long rectangle with large columns holding up the roof. It is very open and the oppressive heat is lessened by slowing swaying hanging panels moving the air.

On each side of the entrance are large rooms with stacked daises at the back. Suspended on the wall at the top of each dais is a golden emblem. These daises are wide with several graduations.

"These are the Chambers of Bountiful Opportunity," he gestures to one side and then the other, "and Mutual Benefit. Next is the Hall of Recumbent Bliss where most of our guests stay."

You see that one is being used currently by a well dressed man and his entourage. Then are all wearing clothes with the same pattern. He is sitting by himself at the top on a mat with a small short table beside him. The table holds refreshments.
Spread on the the next dais below him are a couple of clerks with paints, brushes and papers for filling contracts. Below them are a miscellaneous assortment of people.

Beyond these rooms is a long expanse of woven mats with walkways between them. Each mat is just big enough for a person to lay on. At intersections of the walkways there is a raised platform in place of a sleeping map and on it sits a person beside a box. These people are wearing the crescent moon pattern on their clothes.

Along the wall, the less trafficked area, there are standing dividers that provide a measure of privacy and some of these separated sections have double mats.

You also see where each swinging panel overhead is being worked by a slave.

"Here is the Chambers of Partaking of Sustenance, where we serve food and tea. To those that wish to purchase them, we have other refreshments available."

In the center of the building, on each side, leading to an exit door, there are long low tables on firmer mats. From the look of it this is the dining area. There are a few tables that are on stacked mats. To raise them above the others around them. You see slaves bringing bowls of food in on trays through the side doors.

At the far end of the building are the water-closets. A glance shows that the water from these drain into the toilet holes. There are more, but shorter, dividers here than in the main sleeping area.

"After a hard journey I'm sure you will want to make sure of the Chambers of Refreshing Cascades. We have fragrances that can be added to the waters on request." Yanaho waves in the general direction of the enclosures.
"Funny thing, there were two guys that looked a lot like you that just checked in and wanted to have spaces near the water-closets. They were of the Verdigris Brush clan so maybe they are just more comfortable near drains," he continued.

Between the main building and the tower is a covered walkway. From it you can see kitchens and storage sheds on each side, against the outer walls.

"Verdigris brush clan? I think our clans are related. Where did they have their space, that later we may look them up? Oh and also we need change for a silver or two, could you arrange that? Of course we would pay you for your help."Huruyan asks this quietly and with a very small bow

Those clansmen? Back in that corner," Yanaho says gesturing to the left.

In the distant corner beside the wall to the banquet hall you see two people that appear to be sleeping. There is a trunk against the wall near their heads.

"I don't carry much cash besides the tips I'm given. I can arrange for someone to visit you at your room if you need more change than that."

Re: A2 S1: Under the Red Dome
Yanaho proceeds down the walkway to a pair of open massive bronze doors. These doors are covered with warriors fighting mythological creatures. They once were beautiful and enameled in bright colors but now are mostly covered with corrosion except where heavy use has worn to the metal.

You enter a large circular chamber floored in once smooth stone, now slightly chipped. In the center of the chamber is a series of wide daises one on top of the other. The upper most is azure blue.

Hanging from the ceiling by brass chains are many brightly glowing globes. They form a swirled pattern about the room. The globes are completely enclosed as far as you can see and the light from them is steady yellowish white.

Facing out from the stack of daises, in six directions, are statues of bearded men in red and white chequered full armor. In their upraised hands are silver axes. These axes don't look to be the originals. They look to be of chlen-hide that has been painted.

To the right a wide set of rail-less stairs hug the curved wall and climb up to the next level. On your left a matching stairwell descends down out of sight. Yanaho heads directly towards the left and the stairs down. Fastened securely to the wall on your left as you descend are smaller glowing globes at wide intervals. The stairs are wide enough that several people carrying bundles of clean blankets up are able to pass by easily. A cool draft with the smell of water and chemicals rises up the stairwell.

When you reach the next floor the stairs continue but you exit into a short hallway. The hallway is formed by the missing slice of a circular room divided like a pie, with doors facing the center. In the very center of this room is a small dais and on it sit pillows, chests, a table and a balding man in the livery of the crescent moon. He has a sash of cloth draped over his shoulder and appears busy doing calculations in several papers and a book. After a quick appraising glance he continues his work.

Yanaho addresses him, "Esteemed sir, Benza has asked me to bring these guests so that you may assign them a private room. When you have a moment."

A circle of the globes glow silently above him while makes entries with a pen he dips in an ink well. After a short time he sits down his pen and reaches into a small metal clad box to pull out an object. He then stands to greet you.

"Welcome to the Chamber of the Alcoves of Contemplation. I am Qonanu of the Crescent Moon." He waits for your bow of greeting then instructs Yanaho, "Show them to the Alcove of the Listening Hmelu." He hands Yanaho a small pendent in the shape of a deer like creature.

Tanaho in turn directs you to a small door to the left of the entrance hallway which has the same animal embossed upon it. "Here is the room assigned to you for twenty gold per day."

As Yanaho opens the door and you glance in at a small sparse wedge shaped room, from behind you ...

"That's them!"
Three men arrive in the hallway behind you. One with in the livery of the Crescent Moon, one in Dark blue and gold trimmed armor and one with a dark blue kilt and wide cone shaped hat.

Kumahl turns, smiling. "Greetings! How may we be of help?" His tone is  cautiously friendly, though he is quite sure these men mean trouble.

"I am Rukuyelu of the Ocean Dawn and I demand to see the contents of that chest."
He points to your basket, still being carried by the slaves. His stern look shows he is in no mood for discussing the matter. His hand is clasped to his sword. It is an ornate blade with a scalloped pattern forming saw teeth with a gold and jewel encrusted hilt.

"You damn-lishs will not besmirch Lady Enoalla with your plot! I will not allow it!"

My mis-wording it looks like a chest but is your large square basket.

Re: A2 S1: Under the Red Dome
As you pass the statues on the ground floor Huruyan steps over to the nearest one, pauses and gives a deep respectful bow. He remains in front of the figure for a few moments, then rejoins the rest of the party. "Fine statues you have here."He says this loudly enough for all to hear, then privately to Kumahl, "I think those are really fine statues to Chegarra."When we have all arrived downstairs and are confronted by three newcomers, Huruyan turns to face the newcomers and says respectfully,"What is this nonsense? We certainly do not plot against anyone, much less a lady!"Then he adds forcefully,And I worship Chegarra!"

Kumahl steps up to the fellow. "I have no idea who Lady Enoalla is. Therefore, I would not besmirch her name. Moreover, if I find that someone is trying to frame me for this slight you speak of, I will consider that an insult to MY honor and act accordingly. Please tell me what you are missing of hers that you must look in my belongings, for I am quite certain that I don't know what it is."

He strikes a tone that balances between offended and willing to help.

"It has come to our attention that certain crude and disgusting implements as well as harnessed of our Lady's measurements have been created." explained Rukuyelu in a haughty tone, "These to be placed in her chambers and proclaimed to have been discovered. The intent being to prove she is a secret follower of Dlamelish, and not of Dilinala, as we know she is."

"With Cholnallja's help," he nods towards his companion, "I have have been following you ever since we learned that two men matching your description had these foul things."
"You came from a known Dlamelish worshiping establishment to here," he adds with a look as if saying the game is up.

"Open that," he commands the slaves.

"This need not turn to violence, I can open our basket voluntarilly and allow you to see all that it contains. Also I believe that I might be able to help you find the people that you are looking for." Huruyan says this calmly and quietly, and lowers his spear slightly.
