"Full military rig, looks like pilot, astrogator, comp, sensors and a 5th seat for captain or comms operator, depending on crew org."

Re: Dust Runner Bridge
[continued from Lanth: New Day]

Nate nodded thoughtfully to the Baroness' reply.  He was grateful for her generous offer - heaven knew he'd not had much go his way in this life - but her answer still didn't resolve the issue of leadership.

"Will you be the Captain then, Baroness?" he asked, not having moved any closer to the nav chair where the bounty hunter sat.  "Or will you appoint another to run matters aboard the ship on your behalf?"

Perhaps it was his military background, but Nate preferred to know who was in command.  The pecking order mattered, whether you agreed with the specific people in role or not.

While others tried to formulate some sort of coherent plan Drex sat in his seat in front of the comms, idly watching. It was interesting to him to see the group dynamic, and how it would - possibly - pull together.

Luise considers it for a moment, then agrees to the captaincy: "Why not? I can do the day to day management, the shifts and regulations. We will need a vote on that, because a captain needs some authority.

"I'll need to have a look at the UPPs to organize us.", she says, half absorbed in thought and turns to the computer to call up the UPPs.
