Once everyone is done talking, Shamus will lead Roland/Randy to the area where the hijackers stored their gear (ie clothing, miscellaneous, etc).."There should be something there that fits, grab what you need..." after that, He'll lead them to one of the crew staterooms, "We haven't assigned rooms yet, but, this should do for now. Whenever you're ready, just contact me...I'll likely be in the engine room."

Before heading back to the engine room, Shamus heads to his stateroom (whichever is closest to the engine room), take a nice hot shower, a fresh set of clothes...galley for a sandwich....

Then to the engine room>>>>

Back in his room Rutger stripped out of his coveralls and pulled on the body suit he wore under his combat armor. Pulling it on piece by piece he checked it's fit, and buckles.  He moved with deliberate focus as he grabbed his weapons out of the ships locker and charged a round into the receiver. After his gear was on and his weapons were charged he Lit his cigar.

"Steen Geared up, ready for action" He reported over the intercom."Better let me know how serious this is."

Roland came aboard and stopped in the airlock, using the decontamination kit to clean off the suit, and scrub down his gear before he left the airlock. Once inside he didn't crack his helmet and made sure everything he had brought aboard was sealed in bags and containers even after scrubbing them down.

Re: Guests

MEDICAL BAY

Ever since the life support pods had been brought over to the Dust Runner from the refueling station, Arc had been making sure they were still functioning. He didn't have quite enough training to set up a quarantine area so that he could possible bring the people out, but he also wasn't sure that wouldn't kill them. The doctors at the station hadn't been able to determine the cause of the plague, but as they were the only ones still left alive (as far as they knew), it didn't seem right to leave them behind, especially as the station was in imminent danger from the storm.

Fortunately, he'd been assigned by Kara and a few other crew members with some medical training. They'd noticed that the lifesigns externally displayed on the pods had shown a slow improvement in the patients.

*BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP*

Arc jumped as the pod on the end suddenly started beeping!

What does that mean? was his first thought, but as soon as he did, he realized what it meant--the pod was ready to open!

Had it been on a timer that they hadn't seen?

He rushed over to the pod and read the indicators. The medical sensors detected no adverse conditions in the patient! That's why the pod was opening! The patient had gotten better!

He checked the others. They were improving, too, but weren't waking up yet.

He let the pod run through its cycle normally. Before long, the air was all purged and recycled, and the split lid hissed apart and slid aside.

The man inside was slowly waking up.

"And, no, we have no idea what plague or airborne virus or whatever affected the crew. I'm utterly gobsmacked that you somehow managed to recover all on your own."

Being both anxious and yet bored, Luthar strained his ears for any sign of departure. And so he became aware of the arrival of further passengers.
Kraig had explained to him that this vessel was incapable of covering the four parsec to Dinomn in one jump and so he was quite intrigued who else might agree on the terms of passage.
So he casually strolled outside and made for the common room, hoping to catch a glimpse of the other guests.

[Passenger Common Room (20) - Lower Deck/Bow]
Luthar did notice the couple and they did not strike him as particularly intrigueing.
And so he settled in the comfortable couch and looked outside the view pane at the bustling activity which was drawing to its close.
Departure was close by.

[Passenger Common Room (20) - Lower Deck/Bow]

Kraig dropped by again some time later to check in on Luthar and ease the ex-Navy again by stating that the ship would soon depart.
Kraig Pars:
He poured a couple of stiff drinks with the practiced hand of long experience with passengers. "I think you can use something stiff my friend."

"To be honest, I certainly can use that. It's been a while since I was last shot at. Well, I was actually not shot at, but, well, you know, been in a fire fight without tons of ship armour around me.", he chuckled and sipped.
Luthar frowned.
"As soon as I realized that there was a sniper I warned everybody else in the Nexus and made haste to leave via the backdoor. There was more gun fire, quite unlike the single precise shot you'd expect of a sniper, more like autofire. Maybe some of the guests shot back ? I don't know. But I think you may be right. An assassination might not have caught the attention of security for some time, or at least there would not have been too much pressure, but with a gunfight like that, security sure is busy to investigate for real. Might even be they enforce a temporary departure ban."
Kraig Pars:
"Let me introduce you to the captain and I'll see if I can't get things going more quickly with our departure."

Luthar shrugged. Perhaps Kraig was right. It certainly would be good to inform the captain.
"Yes, you're probably right."
He emptied the drink and stood up.
"Lead the way. I'll be right behind you."
