Harry pays for the cargo and sets up delivery to the ship. He then heads to the bar again and orders a round of drinks. "We're going to Efate next. Ready to fly again soon? We'll have passengers too!"

Chocalate is fine, it's that Mora wine that gets me every time.  Alchol contents hits us like it 200 proof.

What else is thereto do while in port, the women don't like it when i bite and I don't gamble as that's a fools game and I like to hold on to my money.  anyway outside ofside of singing or howling according to some people i'm not a bad drunk.

Just females, it is part of our mating rituals.  don't human have some sort of straange mating rituals?  I once heard that but don't know if it was real or someone was pulling my tail.

"Come on, you trying to pull my tail too?" Harry says with a grin.

"No, he is not jesting, and Vargr females bite back too. My third wife Katra brought one home once, a pirate. I learned a few sword tricks from her, and other tricks to be honest."

"Hmmmm, I don't think I'd like that, I guess I'll stick to the same old, same old. Safer that way. Wow, that could hurt."

No pain no gain.  Don't you triedd it knock until you tried it I alway say.  I wouldn't especially want to do it with an Aslan, those claes are very sharp.

"Oh they are very sharp, and they bite too, at least I've heard they do."

"Oh yes Aslan females teeth and claws are quite...sharp."

Ex smiled wistfully showing his own inch long fangs.

"But it's the Aileih, The Claw of Love, that put's off most Human and Vargr from rolling about with Aslan females. It is analagous to the human female Clitoris but it is usually slightly larger than a human male's penis."

"Ironically human and vargr females seem quite fond of it. I have been put out of the bed chamber when my own, equipment was felt to be too large only to be replaced by one of my own wives! Can you believe it! Ha Ha Ha Ha!"

Ex roared with laughter.

"Yes, your 'wives' are plentiful Ex, cuddlers too! What about you Joe, anything, . . . interesting, . . .ever happen to you?"

Joe thinks about Harry's question for a moment, before answering, "I've found some interesting stuff while diving. All sorts of unusual creatures and even some shipwrecks. But as far as home life goes, no wife, or wives, although I probably have a few kids scattered around the stars."

"Lolololololololololol."

Arc listened to the conversation around him. He'd covered a bunch of the material in his medical training, but the books were always so dry. It was also good to get a first-hand perspective.

"Is the cargo loaded yet, Harry?" he asked.

"Has the ship been refueled yet?"

"Did Luise give a lift-off time yet? I suppose we'll get beeped when it's time to report back to the ship."

"Although, now that I think of it, I don't think she's ever used the recall alert. One beep is a general recall, generally meaning lift-off in about 3 hours. Two beeps are fast recall, lift-off in 30 minutes. Three beeps... well, if you aren't already on the ship, it probably left without you."

"In the case of one beep, you're expected to reply with a single beep acknowledging receipt and compliance. If you don't reply, she won't leave unless you are on board or she knows that you aren't coming... quit, dead, arrested, etc. She'll send crew out to find you, otherwise."

He felt like an Old Timer explaining the information to the newcomers. They probably already knew it, but sometimes, in the midst of Crazy, minor details like that tended to get overlooked.

"No Arc, it will be loaded tomorrow after our old cargo is off loaded."

Feeling a bit greeen at the gill so to speak, Oeh staggers back to the ship to sleep off his night on the town

Harry retires after three drinks so he is ready to unload cargo in the morning. Luise needs to take care of the money side unless Harry is given access. Unloading the Baron and his entourage took place upon arrival. It was a good trip with good relations with the Baron and his family.

The night on the town wasn't quite as advertised, or at least not what Arc was expecting, but that was just fine by him. He wasn't ever much of a party animal.

So, after a few drinks, he, too, headed back to the ship.

Oen waking up feeling like someone took a hammer to his head, goes to he galley grabs a cup of coffee and the heads to the bridge to check if there are any messages.

Harry unloaded the ship in the morning, feeling fresh and alive. He was done in three and a half hours and then began waiting on the new cargo and mail and the other cargo. The berth was receiving cargo crates already.

Ex was up early the next morning. He went through a ridiculously difficult morning workout as soon as he rolled out of bed, taking time only to put on shorts.

He then wrote and sent off a long communication to his mates and hoped that it would arrive in a timely manner. As he sometimes did he regretted that parental culture with his race wasn't more like humans. He would very much have liked to spend more time with his son.

Around local dawn, or when the lights came on in the starport, he had set up his autochef in the galley and had his Domestic Servant robot bringing trays of food to everyone on board. The autochef was rated at Gourmet level but he set it to produce standard human "country breakfast".
