At the end of your Career(s), you get so many rolls on the benefit tables from  your last career. One roll per year, and an additional one for promotions.

Tables you can choose to roll on are: Money and Benefits. Benefits can be ship shares, attribute increase, equipment, and TAS membership.

Just give me 8 d6 rolls and I'll figure out your Benefits.

I don't remember seeing ship shares as an option, must have missed the chart.

Roll of 1 gives you a Personal Vehicle or Ship Share. Since the vehicle is mostly useless (unless you really want that Ferrari), we'll go with Ship Share.

Two 2 rolls each give you a +1 to INT.

Roll of 4 gives you a weapon. If you don't want to worry about buying one, then you've got a souvenir pistol.

Two 5s give you 20,000Cr and a TAS Membership.

Two 6s give you a Ship's Boat or a Ship Share.

So that would give you 5 Ship Shares total.

Sweet, money for upgrades and money to buy in on the ship! Excellent!

TAS membership is always nice.  They have great bars!  :)

I'll noodle on stat and skill increases.  So basically we have 60 weeks of training to play with, right?

Tried to advance the skills and attributes used previously and towards our chosen direction as the investigator of our troubleshoot team.

With Attribute and Skill levels IM now has a +5 Sensors and +4 Investigate, Streetwise, Computer and Recon.

How much pocket money did we each end up with after all is the deals are done?

After the government subsidies (because of the war), Arc, IM, Kraig, Luise, Roland and Steve each had 500,000Cr left in their personal accounts (i.e. pockets).

NPC in Memoriam? Someone passed away?

Yeah. This game was started by another GM, I think at the behest of Steve Cable's player.

As far as I can recall, he was the motivator for the gang to do skip tracing. They were on Lanth when the Sword Worlders occupied the planet. Apparently, the group wasn't interested in getting involved in the war and were trying to get off planet as quickly as they could.

The previous GM decided to kill the game at that point. I offered to take over, but that board was shut down so I was forced to start this board. A few of the PCs switched over, but we lost several others that didn't want to continue.

Kraig, Gahler and Steve were the ones that came over. Steve's player was also GMing a Star Trek game. I can't remember if I joined that game or not, but suddenly, the GM stopped posting. One of the other players that knew him in RL posted that he'd been in poor health for awhile, and had then suddenly died.

He was a terrific role-player and had interesting characters, so he was missed.

So sad, In Memorium is quite correct then.

Yea, Steve passed away tragically.  I think he ran the original game for a while IIRC plus another one as well.

Been crazy busy but will get caught up in a few days.

Looks like the powers that be on RPOL have decided that I'm under 18 for some strange reason and I've been suspended. Looks like I'm not going to be on any longer.

I was just informed by a moderator that IM is still good to go for this game.

He hasn't been restricted/suspended from the site... only from Mature/Adult games.
