Re: Moving Forward

A lurker couldn't reply to a post either, so he's definitely an active player.

Re: Moving Forward

That's what I thought. That's why I said if it was something you had control over it. you would have done fixed it. Might have to deal with it, I don't know.

Re: Moving Forward

In reply to Harry McStubbin (msg # 844):

Ok maybe I don't understand exactly how this work as it is my first time doing this sort of thing.  My understanding is that I can reply to a post directed at me, but if I wanted to post a general description of what my character was doing ala some of the things Harry was posting
that there was a specific button that I was supposed to hit. if the reply button on the bottom of the screne that is under the messages as opposed to the reply button that is shown in the specific message then I apologize for all the problems that I may have caused.

Re: Moving Forward

I  now see says the blind man.  I was looking for a button that said post message, the 2 buttons one within a specific message box and the one at the bottom of the screen outside
of any specific box had me confuses.  I guess my brain is getting to ossified. Sorry for all the confusion.

For the most part, Gahler is the pilot. But he won't be sitting in the pilot's chair 24/7.

Re: Moving Forward

Taking my son back to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville FL Monday and Tuesday.

It's a 7 hour drive down on Monday and a 7 hour drive back on Tuesday. I'll be back home Tuesday night.

I will try to keep up but my access and ability to post will be more limited than normal until then.

Re: Moving Forward

I'm headed to NashCon in Nashville TN this weekend and won't be back home until late Sunday night.

Normally while traveling I can stay caught on RPOL but in this case I will be running two Bolt Action (28mm WW2 wargame) tournaments (Friday night and all day Saturday) and so my opportunities to post will be few and far between.

I'll get caught up as fast as possible when I return.

Re: Moving Forward

In reply to Harry McStubbin (msg # 859):

since the only steady people who are posting for this game are you me and ex, then either shutting the game down and starting a new one or perhaps getting a new gm.  Louise it seems posts whenever she can or if the situation calls for it.  the same goes for any of the other active players.  the Gm I thought posted a while back that he was having some sort of health issues so that maybe contributing to the reason the game is progressing so slowly.  Your thoughts?

Re: Moving Forward

Yep. That's all accurate.

Gahler just disappeared and never said he wanted dropped, so I'm guessing he's not on RPoL any more.

Luise bowed out for reasons I don't remember, but hinted that she might return, which is why she's still around as a semi-NPC.

Kraig might still be around; he's just waiting for the game to pick up (I hope).

Re: Moving Forward

If I weren't running two F2F games right now I would volunteer to help work on the plot for this one but I just don't think I could do it.

I actually think three active players is enough to have a good game we just need something to do that Harry can't do by himself.

If all we are going to do is run a legit free trader than it would be cool if Ex could at least be involved in loading and unloading cargo (which is the only part of the job he is much use at).

I think the three of us could have some cool adventures if we are presented with adventures to have.

Re: Moving Forward

We could always hire NPCs too :-) Each of us could add another character to NPC too, or pick up one of the 'PC's' that have been abandoned.
