Ser Edric and Lord Ashfield leave the field, the lord doesn't speak on the way back he just looks about at the field of poppy and then at the smoke over the crest. He is in deep thought over the events and simply make way back.

Pella & Wallace receive a note during the day from Mara her an hour after sundown in the southern drawing room. Nothing else is noted, but the message seem secretive. A bit odd she doesn't seem the type to be in the shadows, but it most be important or she wouldn't ask.

Mara had a couple of the scrolls that the Maester had allowed her to view at hand. She waited calmly for the two to come. She had tried to give hints to Ascar, and Edric and Mathys were to reactionary. They surely would jump at the chance to war with any Dorne. She knew that she could be wrong about her suspicions.

There are two other oddities. If, the House Steiner is so angered why risk chasing down Lord Garin. The second thing is that the way Garin phrase it : that his house has uncover a plot to assassinate a member of one of the Dorne houses and place blame on the north. He never directly said that House Steiner was planning this, but we sure jumped on it. I did not sense that Lord Garin was lying, but I could tell there is more to the picture than we know. I bring this to you and Pella because; I believed both of you learned and level headed enough to help discover the truth. I also informed Captain Merius of the Blue lancers to keep his eyes open while transporting Lord Garin.

Mara was tired. The research and worry had taken much out of her. using he handkerchief she wiped her brow. She sort of wish she had brought drink, but preparing for clandestine meetings were not her speciality.

The private meeting breaks with maybe more questions than answers. Regardless the journey to King's Landing is unavoidable and the games that others play sometimes bear little meaning, but then again they could be more behind what is obvious.

Bron leaves the group and begins to follow the tracks.

First, .... it seems they were waiting for sometime before they made their move. traces of them moving about show that they may have been there a few hours before.

Second, .... they were traveling lite, and did not come from far, as their foot steps were strong, spaced so that it gives the impression that they were well rested and traveled a short distance.
