The three men wander through the darkness, feeling their way, until they emerge into a dimly lit room that seems like dusk compared to the absolute darkness from which they emerged. The trio had little time to react however, as the air was suddenly filled with the sticky strands of a spider web and was followed by an arrow.
Calis and Father Rys, instinctively stepped aside from the magical net that stretched from the ceiling to the floor, but the more heavily armoured knight was not so fortunate, finding himself entangled in the sticky mess. Immediately after the web, an arrow sang through the air, bouncing off the knight's heavy breastplate.
Peering into the darkness, the trio could see, recessed into the back of the room, a pair of spiders, or what appeared to be spiders, their heads were missing, replaced with the half-bodies of men or fairies or some dark skinned creature that could not truly be discerned! There was a low, dull, clicking being emmitted from them as the one armed with a bow raised its weapon again, while the other began to wave its hands about in arcane gestures...
OOC: Roll for initiative! 20 to break out of the web, or 25 to use escape artist :)
