Request to join/FAQ (read first)

When requesting to join please keep in mind that that everyone will be starting with the 'Ordinary person OCC'.

As the game progresses characters will be to dual class into one of the post apocalypse OCC's featured in the Dead Reign RPG books.

I also intend this game to be very role-play heavy in that not only would you have to worry about the Zombie horde but surviving in a world without electricity, a world with murderous outlaws running about, and seeking out food/shelter.

Can I start out with the Half-Living OCC?

No, you may not. If your character is killed by Zombies and is saved in time they might end up as a member of the 'Half-Living'.

Can I use a character from another Dead Reign game?

Doesn't it suck when you make a character for a game here on RPOL (or elsewhere) only to have the GM be a bitch ass punk and stop posting without saying why?
Yeah it's happened to me a few times.

Knowing that character creation for a Palladium character can be lengthy, you can submit a character from another Dead Reign game (or even BTS 2E) as long as the character has the Ordinary Person OCC. The character CANNOT have any psionic, magic or super powers. If I feel that the attrbutes are a 'bit high' I will ask you to re-roll attributes. I may ask you to adjust the characters level (it might go up!). The characters background has to believable too.

Use the die roller

For character creation. Please do not roll stats up at home and just plug them in.

Likewise as the GM I will make all combat rolls against PC's with the die roller as well.

If you're accepted as a player but no longer want to play...

Please PM me and say your leaving the game. I don't need to know why.

Also if real life is getting busy and you can't post as much, or need to go on a hiatus, let me know, we'll figure something out with what to do with your character. I have had some players deploy to the Middle East and come back to the game 6-9 months later.

Character sexuality

This game is rated mature, therefore it is ok for there to be some intimacy in the game. Just make sure that any interaction beyond kissing is dealt with in a 'fade to black' manner. I see no reason to role play sexual encounters, and do to so would make this an adult game.

Character sexual orientation: If you wish to play a gay, or lesbian character you may.

Non-Player characters as significant others: It is ok if your character has a significant other. You can even create a background for them if you wish. Just realize that I will not role play your significant other in romantic situations.
