Re: OOC Thread for General Use

I'm back, and actually had a blast camping over the weekend with no access to the outside world. I caught a ton of fish; catfish, bluegill, striper bass, and my wife even caught a sauger.

The weather was fantastic. We didn't bring the pontoon boat this time, but I did get out in my kayak. Hope everyone had as fantastic of a weekend as I had.

Glad you had an awesome time with both fish and family.

You fish murdering psychopath.

There is now an entire population of fish wondering if some sort of fish rapture occurred, or was it possibly aliens... and perhaps one or two are spreading a tale of fighting against an irresistible force that magically and invisibly pulled them by their lip or gills into another dimension...

Way to go spreading terror and death while separating families from their loved ones forever.

Incidentally, we could still REALLY use a Cleric or some sort of Divine Caster healer focused person in the game I'm in. :)

Any takers?

The Netherworld Plane Campaign. We're all going on a jolly adventure to retrieve an artifact that my character is recruiting people for. :) My character is mysterious and may or may not have an even more mysterious benefactor.

Vic...Alton and I may have lost our partner Lestroniuk.  If so, our adventure may stutter.  I would be interested if our current adventure crashes.

Re: OOC Thread for General Use

I'm a Braal fan too! Where's my shirt!

On a different note...

I've made an addition to my house rules. This rule affects the rule regarding taking 10 and 20.

Taking 10 and 20 is something I have a bit of a hard time swallowing as I have tried to ski since I was a kid, and have failed to learn to do so up into old age no matter how many instructors, and times I've tried to do it. I think this applies to this rule, and there are times when you just fail at trying to do something. Craft is one of the skills I believe must be regulated when it comes to this as well as some of the other skills, and I'll try to provide an example as to why I feel this way.

In my games, I will be the one to determine if one can take 20 and automatically achieve whatever they are trying to do. If I believe there is a chance for failure, especially if costs are concerned, a roll will be done, and if it fails then you lost all the expenses associated with the attempt your making. You can try again, but it will cost you all over again each time you attempt it. That is just one example of how I'm going to regulate this rule and it will be done on a case by case basis depending on what skill is being used.

Thanks!

Yes, I'd thought I made that clear that you returned to the Wayfarers Inn to seek a new adventure, or find help for the one you were doing. I've closed that thread, only temporarily should you decide to get help and return to it.

Basically, if I were to make a suggestion, just post up something about looking at the board and asking if a "Victor" is around.

At that point Felmin should be able to step in and we can get you guys rolling. We're pretty much ready to go at this point, just waiting on you guys to get introduced so that we can be on our way. :)

Re: OOC Thread for General Use

I have a Knights of Columbus state conference this weekend starting Friday, 18 May 2018 to Sunday, 20 May 2018. I may or may not be able to post depending on how busy I am. I don't get to see some of the other officers all year, and we usually have late nights and early mornings.

The wife and little girl come with me, so I have to accommodate them too, and do with them the activities that the town may have to offer.

So, if I can, I will, but most likely I won't. If the latter, I'll see ya on Monday.

P.S. The spring, summer, and fall months find me doing many weekend activities with my family. We do lots of summer events, especially camping and other outdoor activities. I'll warn you now that if I post on weekends it's probably storming the whole weekend. From now on, especially since school is out, I'll generally only be posting on weekdays.

Follow my example you desk commando's and get out of that chair once in a while!

:) Cheers!
