OOC (2)

To continue from the previous thread... Gnicely is leader.  Runningwolf wouldn't follow this new mage, no matter how powerful.

In other news, I've decided to retain Garm and Bane for now.  I have serious concerns for their survival in this escalating dungeon environment... but there simply isn't time for me to find and train suitable replacement(s).  Shadow I'd keep for RP and noncombat no matter what. ;)

So hopefully Runningwolf's pups won't die; but they'll fight on in the meantime.  With some additional help I'm working on!

OOC (2)

Thank you

[Private to Runningwolf: A thought for you. Find the alpha wolf/warg. Cast animal friendship on it. I think that is a ton cooler than my 'nuke them' plan]

I don't think there's a need to throw their lives away.  You could train them to guard the spellcasters or artillery.  They can learn from watching.

Re: OOC (2)

Any volunteers willing to act as a decoy to hopefully draw the wargs into the ambush? If not, Elmo will gladly go...

Re: OOC (2)

I hate to send an NPC to do a PC's dirty work.

I was thinking I'd be able to use my bow because artillery would be useful tactically, so wasn't sure I was a good candidate.  But I'll go if nobody else wants to (and assuming the others don't want to send Elmo)

Re: OOC (2)

I'd go before Elmo ;)

I assumed actually that Runningwolf would go. If it all goes wrong he can just Invisibility to Animals, or Entangle and get away. I doubt if any of the rest of us can say that: I'd be eaten by the wolfs without them breaking into a sweat.

But I'd say any of you big tough humans with lots of armour could do it too.

Gillian has the armor but no ranged weapon.

Re: OOC (2)

I assumed we'd want the missile weapons with the traps, to fire as they approach.  Is it better to have a missile firer be the bait?

Re: OOC (2)

Any decision on who will act as bait to lure the wolves?

I'll do it if no one else wants to volunteer. I'll post that tomorrow if noone else steps forwards
